Alright, this is weird looking, but think about it. "Abortion doesn't affect everyone" is a pretty stupid statement. Think about how many people you know. We've all wondered what the world would be like if we weren't born. But take that seriously...what would the people you know be like if you'd never been born? Not like, a million people, just people you feel the need to mention...and we all know that'll only be a small portion of the lives you've actually changed. Doesn't all have to be good. Which, I guess, is counterproductive but hey, we're not all perfect, and it's...
It's more like an illustration of how many people don't even KNOW how much one single abortion would have changed their lives. Erm...just lock it and delete it if you hate it, mods.

Mom - stuck doing all the housework for 4 extra years, wouldn't have someone to remember to pack her rosary and favorite book in her carebag when she's in the hospital, wouldn't have someone to make her tea just right when she wants it, wouldn't have her second-born child and emotional crutch in many ways. Yes, I"m so close to my mom, we're like best friends sometimes.
Dad - Wouldn't have a biological daughter, wouldn't be able to be proud of sports trophies his child won (he was big on sports when he was young, the others never liked sports but I did) wouldn't have someone to joke around with, wouldn't have a kid who could take his temper bursts without yelling back. and neither of them woulda understood my brother without me for awhile.
Brother- obvious. Wouldn't have anyone to stand up for him, at school and at home, wouldn't have anyone to teach him like I did and mother him when Mom was sick.
Sister - wouldn't have a go-between for mom. I've disputed lots of fights. nah, goes deeper. Gotten her through hard times.
Friend #1 - he was suicidal. I got his parents to listen to him and get him therapy. He had already attempted and admitted later he was going to try again. I probably saved his life.
Friend #2 - She was in an abusive relationship. Then another one. Then another one. Finally, with a LOT of help from me (guess none of her other "friends" cared about the bruises or the tears stare ) I got her to help herself. You can't break someone's cycle for them, but you can help them see that they can do it themselves.
Friend #3 - this is really friend number one, but I'm not proud of this one. She was a bit abusive to me...ok, a lot abusive to me...and I felt no shame in spreading rumors about her and reducing her to tears, and in fact, felt very good about it. Evil me.
4. - I smiled at him. What difference does that make? He was the class loser. Still..... He smiled back, and we got to be friends, and he had enough confidence to go out and make more friends and drop me off his friend list, but he's much happier now.

But...but where would I be without you? Alone....in this scary thread gonk Yeah, I'm a walking pro-choice arguments. (We need abortion to keep people like her out of the way by getting rid of them before they're born!) but they couldn't predict the annoying presence that is Kate.

Yeah, it seems as if you don't really think about it, but you personally could have changed and effected people's lives, for the better, or for the worse.

Elternalmina Yeah, it seems as if you don't really think about it, but you personally could have changed and effected people's lives, for the better, or for the worse. Life is way too complicated. Because one person fell asleep at the wheel and got in a fender bender(actually, a large one, but any accident that doesn't end in death or near death I call a fender bender sweatdrop ), my friend's mom was stuck for an hour in traffic..... on september 11, 2001.... she was late to work, at the pentagon. where the plane hit. Now if that person who got in an accident hadn't been there to get in an accident, my friend's mom woulda been dead. So isn't it funny how even the littlest things and most bizarre connections can be life-changing?
