You'd have to specialize one way or the other in the end anyways, if you stuck with it. All the buffing mages I've fought were weaker than normal offensively, and with good reason. Buffs take skill points you could be using for offensive purposes, and the low level buffs are of less beefit to a party than the real thing. Anyways, you will of course do what you wish, so I'll not press the issue.

Decarabas has reached lvl 27 and we are going to do some more levelling tonight. Got the crystal key! *woot* only took me 2 hours
