Someone should get a Croatian or Macedonian alterego.

I read the entire Simarillon. Still can't spell it. I think the father wrote better and in a much more interesting way than the son did.

Silmarillion is mainly written by J.R.R Tolkien, it was just edited by Christopher Tolkien. It's HoME that was mainly written by Christopher.
