Dear Diary, I think my father is worried about me. He's been talking about having my mother's sister Akiko come and stay with us for a while. He's trying to cover by saying she's a bit sick and needs to be near other people, but I think he really just wants me to have a little more supervision, like I'm going to do something stupid. I guess I already have though, skipping that class to go to lunch with Momo. I know he wants what's best for me really, but I still don't think he's figured out what really is best for me. We haven't even had dinner together in the past few months.

Ryou_Shirogane 3... 2... 1... Fire. The countdown finished as he hit the button, watching the screen as the girl simply fell to the ground. "She'll be out for a few minutes tops.." a hand was placed on the other males sholder "Make sure nothing goes wrong.." Atleast he had the decensy to care about any rapists or whatnot... Ofcourse, he still walked off to go do his own thing. Too big, too small, that wouldn't do. Nashi let out an inaudible sigh, were these girls always this boring? For some reason though, she still tried to seem interested, chiming in every so often with a "That looks great on you!" or "No, you're a stick!" Though whether it was out of fear for these pint sized tyrants or her willingness to follow orders was a mystery. A sudden sharp pain brought her to her knees with a look of shock, though she quickly fell forward, landing with her head on her arms. There was silence for a few moments, as the other girls tried to figure out what happened. Finally, someone spoke, another of the quieter followers, "Is is.. Ok?" Kotomi frowned, it was just like a squib to ruin her day, "She'll be fine. Just sit her up against a wall or something." One of the bolder girls protested, "I really think we should call a doctor or something, she could be really sick." Kotomi set her hands on her hips, obviously oposed to this idea, "Do you know how much trouble we'll get into if she's on drugs or something?" The others just muttered amongst themselves, not quite sure what to say to this authority. Instead of fighting, they just agreed and propped Nashi up against a wall, hidden from the public eye by a few racks of sweaters. After a few more petty squabbles they scattered, leaving her all alone, set up like some awkward barbie doll, legs straight out, arms limp at her sides.
Nashi remained in that helpless state for nearly ten minutes, gradually coming to her senses but not yet able to move, her mind fuzzy as to why she felt like she was made of rubber. Slowly though, she recovered, starting first by lifting her head, then her hands, until she was on her feet again, her mind still clouded, her vision spinning. The sound of a few hangers scraping around the metal rings made her jump, compounding her current fog with a minor panic attack. She stumbled around the store for a few minutes, eventually bumping into one of the few girls that had stayed behind to keep an eye on her. The girl took her by the shoulders, giving her a little shake, "Nashi, come on, are you alright?" She felt herself nod, though she was still a little dazed, her throat dry as she steadied herself and managed to say, "Fine... I'm fine."

Dear Diary, I should never have shown my face back at school after that day. What Kotomi and her girls did then was rotten, but they've been spreading rumors around that I was high or something horrid like that. I hope Momo doesn't find out about it. Or worse, what if dad hears about it and thinks I'm on drugs, I'd never be able to look him in the eye after something like that. I don't think he would believe it though, I think he still has some trust left in me. I think I'm starting to miss Momo, isn't that silly? I haven't seen him around school in a little while. My aunt called a few days ago and suggested I get a pet if I keep feeling lonely. What could I get though? A rabbit? The building doesn't allow cats or dogs. I think I'll leave a note to dad about it.

Dear Diary, Today one of the school coaches pulled me out off the track. She says that because I spend so much time on the sidelines that I'm in danger of failing gym. What should I do? I can't fail, dad would be so disappointed. She said the only way to bring up my grade is to join one of the sports clubs. What am I good enough at though? I've still got bruises from volleyball, I can't run bases without tripping, I always cry in dodgeball, what else is there? I could always join track I guess, but I'm not a very good runner. What am I going to do...

Dear Diary, It's no wonder dad spends so much time away from home, he tried doing something nice for me and I acted like a monster. See, he got a bonus at work for closing this big deal, so he was going to use the money to get his eyes fixed, so he wouldn't have to wear glasses anymore, but instead he went all the way across town and back to get me a special present. It was the cutest little frog hat, but I guess I was just so upset because of school and everything else that I just went crazy and tossed it off to the side like it was nothing. He even came home early so he could see my face when I saw it, but I just acted like I didn't care. I think he was really upset. I'm so rotten sometimes. Why do I keep making things worse?

Dear Diary, I've got to do something to make up for what I did to dad, but what can I do? Miru, one of the kids I hang out with at school now (My fight with Kotomi dropped me down to one of the lowest possible social groups), thinks I should make a nice card and an apology letter for him and attach it to a special lunch. I think that might work, but it would have to be really special. Yeah, I think I'll do that, it'll be at least a start towards making up for my rotten behavior lately.

Dear Diary, Today I rushed to the subway station right after school and went downtown to the florist. I want to do something really special, so I wasnted to get a Bird of Paradise flower to put the with the letter, they're his favorite. Well, the first place I went to didn't have them, so I had to go around to four other places before I found one that had the most beautiful arrangement of blue orchids, red roses, and two Birds of Paradise. It was pretty expensive, but dad deserves something beautiful. The lady at the counter even gave me some chemicals to keep them alive for a lot longer, and she said she would keep everything there for as long as I needed. I told her I'd come and pick it all up in a few days. This is going to be wonderful.

Dear Diary, I've been feeling kind of weird since that day at the mall. I know I should be thinking about the present for Dad, but I'm kind of distracted today. I actually won a race in gym! Kotomi and her brats keep saying that I must have cheated. I can't believe I was ever friends with them. So, I joined the track team, since Coach did say I needed to join a sports club to pass, and I guess I'm alright. Well, alright if I run like I did today. It's weird though, I just feel different somehow. Maybe it's all in my head. Anyway, I wore the hat dad gave me today, he saw I had it on when he came home, I think he was happy.

Dear Diary, Well, I did the second part of my present today, the card. I could have just made something on the computer or bought one and signed my name, but this whole thing is supposed to be special, so I wanted to make it all by myself. There's a craft store about four blocks away from the school, so I just walked down there after last bell. They had a lot of really neat stuff, so I asked one of the older ladies walking around if she had any ideas. She said I should try getting some canvas textured paper, and write everything in calligraphy, and then edge the entire thing in black lace. It sounded kind of frilly, but I think it'd turn out beautiful. Well, if my calligraphy didn't stink so much. I told her I'd try and I thanked her. I hope it turns out right, and not all sloppy.**

Dear Diary, It's been a long time since I wrote anything down diary. Things have been happening so fast that I nearly forgot about you. I feel bad, because a lot of the things are things I really wish I had written down while I still remembered them clearly. For now, I'll just tell you about what happened with dad. Well, you know how I did all of that work? I finished it, and I cooked him his meal and everything, and he didn't see it. I left everything out for him on the front counter so he could see it and get his lunch before he left for work, but I guess he was rushing and he walked right past it. I noticed when I got home, and everything was cold and wasted. I'll probably try again sometime, but for now I'm just a bit discouraged.
