Well, I've been thinking. We can't necessarily do mass-planning like we want yet, here's how something would go:

"Hey everyone, if you want to better the world and change the governments, join Novos!"
"I dunno, what kind of government and stuff would you be implementing? How would you fix the world?"
"Dwah..."

Hmm.... Maybe if we tried to get people we are pretty sure to be intelligent and productive. Like a thread in the ED, but in recruitment, we'd have to be specific about the fact that we want help in planning, not ready to act yet. Sorry, my ideas lately have been scattered and don't make sense in writing. I'll try to collaborate more later.

Our Guild is dead unless it undergoes change!
No new members in months, we can't keep the ones we get, we are dead!
...unless we change.

We need a reason for coming to Novos, a reason for being a member. Sure we will save the world and make it a better place, but when and in what side-reality?

Novos is a guild for discussion about what to change, how to do it. Let's get talking, but that's boring. we would rather talk about nonsense! And where does Novos go? No where. because there won't be any one here to take it with them!

Sorry for ranting, I love novos but am out of ideas(isn't that sad!). Well, Good night. I would appreciate ideas for how to save the guild. maybe one of you has and idea, I don't care if it's a bit far-out, but Novos needs help.

Okay, I do have an idea, sort-of. We need intelligent, relevant discussion. We need purpose. We need direction OR lack there of. I propose a discussion of what the Novos guild should be, and of what the related Organization should be. Perhaps we have already discussed this, but I think we need to rethink the relationship of the two and what each should be.

I need to explain something to the people here. No matter how hard you try, there is no way to avoid the use of military stregnth. No, I don't mean we have to invade anyone. We need defence.
There will always be those peace hating perverse people who just want there to be war because they can't accept others.
We may never have to attack anyone.
But I have little doubt that we will be attacked.

I whole-heartedly agree. The best offense is a strong defense. But if worst comes to worst we will have to attack on a large scale. starting with China probably. In a logical sense.

I'm not sure about separating control of the armed forces from the chief of state, that seems like it would be inefficient.

As for disbanding it, I agree. We would always need a backup fore of some kink in the case that an area got out of hand.

There is an above idea I liked. If we made our idea so promising that if an opposing group threatened to attack us, the citizens of the nation would collaborate with us to revolt and overthrow the agressing government. This would be very tricky and wouldn't always work, but an overthrow from within is better that war.
