Here is a summary that I posted in the Stoner/Sludge thread of the Down concert i went to monday. Gravechild6 Well, I just got Back from the Down concert and I have to say I was Impressed. First they had a screen come down that played videos of some classic bands that influenced them (Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Cro-Mags, Bad Brains, etc.) as well as the video for "Stone The Crow", mixed with random funny clips of the band. Then they came on starting with Lysergik Funeral Procession. Then onto Lifer which Phil dedicated to Dimebag. Phil did a very good job getting the crowd going. Between every song he kept thanking everyone for coming and supporting them. They also played a new song that I didn't really get the name of, I think it was "I Scream" or something like that and also said that there will be a new album that they are going to finish after this small tour. Phil's throat was hurting but you could really only tell when he was talking or when he was straining to get the higher notes. They played most of their songs ending with "Bury Me In Smoke". And Jimmy Bower complimented me on my shirt while I was standing in line and again when I was waiting for the show to start. cool

Personally I read all posts before my last time visiting the thread, as I think most people do. I only thought people did that for the really important topics, like Good/Bad/Fuxor and ^>/ rolleyes
