Ah... Are you using combos to break his?
Also, staying behind him is difficult, so you have to be quick with that and having the right cards so that he doesn't break them, turn around and smack you.

Indeed, it takes a couple times.
Use fire. It hurts him. A lot.
Actually, use a fire strike..thingie. Where you throw the keybalde with fire. It goes through his shield and hits him.

Yeah, that's it. At least, I think it worked pretty well.
Also, three Cloud cards will hit him pretty hard.
