I had forgotten about protect girls...
anyway Vivi is definitely a guy,
I mean come on! the male bonding event said it all.
now that I think about it, does it seem funny to
anybody else that he eats and uses the bathroom when he is essentially a ball of mist and (spoiler!) quite literally a living doll.

I think vivi is male.... they do use a lot of 'he', there is protect-girls, and they don't use the he/she thing they use for quina when talking to vivi. Also the black mage that stays behidn to raise the chocobo when the other one leaves refers to his companion as a male doesn't he? SO there must be some gender variation somewhere.

i dont think it matters what sex Vivi is. He people are made are they not? So they would be able to have sex. So it could be that they have no sex (i mean as male/female not black mages doin the nasty)

This can be summed up quite fast, and people who played IX and not just KH2 will know what I'm talking about.
Zidane and Vivi pee off of a wall in the summoner village, STANDING UP! If Vivi was a girl, one she would be squating, and two, if she didn't squat she would atleast take down her pants. None of that happens all you see are their backs and tinkling noises. And as Zidane summed it up, "Thats how us GUYS deal with things" or something like that. Plus he had kids calling him dad.
What you should be asking is, WTF is Quina...

Vinen I think after that one scene at Eiko's place its pretty clear. I agree XD Zidane and Vivis "man time". I'm pretty sure Zidane would've been a bit terrified if he saw something different...

Hey, *spoiler, highlight to read* wasn't Zidane technically created too...so if he was created and can urinate, Vivi should be able to as well, plus, don't you see him eating in Lindblum? What goes in, must come out, right? And doesn't Vivi die at the end of the game...I might be confused, but it seems to me like Vivi didn't exist anymore, but his kids were still running around...Anyway, I think Veevester's a dude.
