-When you say “Wow, a talking mutt. You’d win first place in a dog show. Woah there, how about a walk? Come on puppy, let’s go!” whenever you take your dogs (or your friends) out somewhere.
-You know you play too much DMC when you make a list of all the laws of physics it breaks (that list is huge.)
-You know you play too much DMC when you imagine having a character in your class.
-You know you play too much DMC3 when you wonder of Dante dyes his hair because his eyebrows and stubble don’t match his hair.
-You know you play too much DMC when you actually buy all the odd sub stories (anime, comics, books…)

-You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for all the untold instances of characters.
-You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for BOSS characters.
-You know you’ve played too much DMC when you’ve made back stories for all the minions you fight.
-You know you play too much DMC when you feel an irresistible urge to create Dante/Vergil/Sparda/Eva/Trish/Lady/Jester/Arkham/Mundus/other/all of the above character in any place you can make them.
-You know you play too much DMC when you deny that DMC2 exists because it wasn‘t made by Capcom.
-You know you play too much DMC when you enjoy kicking cameras.
-You know you play too much DMC when you shake your head at Vergil in DMC4 therories because he blew up at the end of Devil May Cry 1.

-You know you play too much DMC when you can’t resist saying the title in the way that is usually said in the beginning of the games.

-And, finally, you try impaling yourself with swords just to be more akin to our pretty main character.
