Sora Icefreeze
^^ yay! someone who agrees with Sora!
And yea, one other thing for now would be to at least determine what 'Departments' we need. Then from there we can decide who should/could be the head of what based on their strengths (like.. i could not.. for the life of me be good at advertising so this would be an area i would leave for someone else to tackle). But a lot of us I see are busy with school and life in general so in addition to a 'Head' we need like a 'Secratary'. Basically a kinda vice-head to pick up the slack when the head is away, unavailable, internetless or swamped with work. '-' hope i didn't sound too forcefull... i tend to get bossy in group situations so sorry ><
Sorry that I'm just now reading this; the thing is, I already delegated things like that out! We have a sticky manager and a graphics person and an advertiser. The problem is having an administrator who will pm people and make them do their job, as well as keep updating and coming up with new events and things to make things interesting.
It doesn't work to delegate tasks unless you're a slave-driver, and I am NOT a slave driver. At all.
*As far as making decisions as a group goes, we've tried that, it doesn't work because nobody provides input except for a few people and then other people who've been away come back and are offended because their input wasn't used and the decision was essentially made by three people or something. Rating was a good example of that.
What I Think needs to happen if the guild is going to work is for there to be more participation from colorists in general, not just the members of the shop. Somehow, without being overly exclusive or overly just letting nonmembers do as they please, there should be a constant influx of newbie colorists and such who come in and talk and leave to keep people interested and motivated to come back. Perhaps promoting the group spirit of "learning together" and "helping eachother out" will spur people to be more interested. I know I'm not very interested in getting orders anymore, but I might be interested in helping other people or receiving interesting new tips.
Anyway one way to get everyone's opinion on stuff might be to start a thread with a bunch of various survey and poll questions, PM everyone and ask them to fill it out and from there it can be decided what to do.
Sora, I'll probably hand it all over to you, but we probably want somebody to do the petshop because that is horribly neglected.
