Wow...people still forget this is not a popularity thread. Wake up people!

I still have to agree though. I may be fans of both shows but it is clear that Superman clearly has an advantage over Goku. Sure, Goku has SS4 powers but Superman can sneeze a solar system out of existance.

...has anyone made a post based on popularity yet? Where*looks around* I don't see any. Also, I don't think that Superman can blow a universe to smitherines with his breath at will, that was a one time thing, most likely due to the pooder. Of course, I can't prove wether or not it was, nor could anyone ealse, since it's been argued to death and still no one knows for sure. Either way, I'd say Superman's ungodly spead gives him the edge in this battle.

Sir, I try to read as much material pertaining to Mr. Mxyzptlk as possible. The powder merely caused him to uncontrollably sneeze. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ah..knew you would say that. It's probably a good thing that I still have the original Goku cannot beat Superman thread that got trashed on my subscribed list otherwise I would not be able to bring up stuff people forgot at times and it helps other users too.

..Y'know when you think about it. this was the very first Intentionally Uneven thread, hell the reasons were even the same.

Hmm. Perhaps.
How much force does it take to hold a black hole shut?
Also, how does the mass of that black hole compare to other ones. (the information you will research pertains to MUCH larger ones)
Also, if you are going to use real information, then you should also take into account that that black hole would be sucking in things left and right, were it real, even the people around it. The air, the objects, the fabric of reality in that area would be devastated.
It makes NO sense to combine real facts, with contradictory events.

Black wholes are created out of energy(gravity, to be persice), unless you have hands that can contain or reflect energy, which I think the Hulk does but Superman definitly doesn't, closing or holding a black whole is impossible no matter how freakn' strong you are. It's one of the many cases of bending logic to show an impressive feat, like Superman hearing a civilization cry out for help in another galixy arcoss an extreemly expansive vaccume.

So "bragging" about it is useless.
Because...
since it is impossible, or since it is not shown to act the way normal black holes act, then we have no gague on how strong the black hole is.
Perhaps it is as strong as about 500lbs in all directions..perhaps not.
We don't know.
You cannot apply the facts of a real black hole if it does not act like a real black hole, because you would be picking facts that benefit you.

(My earlier statment was made in order to lead someone to ask/answer razz Thanks Kamikaze ^^)

Awesome.
I disagree with parts of the fight. (The manner of events)
But it's a good read/draw.

Well I know comic supes beats Goku but really.....Superman in the comics is just so ridiculous that he had to win against everything else. Seriously, He's so strong now that the comics are just boring every time he gets a new power that makes him immune to something else that was sopposed to hurt him. I'm sure everyone can agree on that.

I found something of interest.....

Seems to be a somewhat scewed viewing of Goku's personality, IMHO... maybe I'm off base there, though, since I havn't watched too much of the series(es).

Otherwise, that's an awesome piece of work... and they did an excellent job trying to make the battle interesting, IMHO.

Aparently most of the thrill is supposed to be in that he's not emotionally invulnerable (or something), and so the "interest" comes in him having to deal with the hardship of the few things he can't fix (or something).

Ok, so I'm sure I'm horribly butchering the explanation, and so I'm kinda counting on being corrected by the people here that understand it better.

Anyway, that said, I do sorta share your sentiments (to a degree). I've gotten some amusement from Superman (mainly in that every now and then a truly over the top super can be entertaining), but for the most part I find him boring as well. For one thing, even when he's faced with a problem he can't just power his way through, he often seems to be portrayed as too mentally perfect as well, so that the problems either don't seem feesible or just don't feel impressive in contrast to the hero they're up against (to me, atleast). And then when we do have a direct, power based conflict, it's just... "WHY?!?"

Of course, then again, I also have an instinctive like of the novice/underdog, so that may be another reason I tend to preffer lower level Superhero's (and other characters) to Superman as well razz .

(Ok, and to be fair, there have been a few exceptions to the power thing *COUGH*Doomsday*COUGH*, but still...)
