DR490N i see energy fields all the time, and auraic colors only sometimes. it isn't seen physically, though it is percieved by some as a physical thing. what it's seen with is the third eye or inner eye. also, not all can train their inner eye to see the aura, but many can. if nothing you can think of or have researched has worked, it could simply be that you are unable to see auras. If that's in response to me, I believe you're missing the point of the thread. I don't necessarily want to see auras. True, I've tried before, and I wouldn't mind having that particular talent, but it's not something I actively pursue, or even want to actively pursue. Regardless of whether or not I can see them, it doesn't really matter to this particular discussion. Even if I could, it could still be a synesthetic response. And for the third/inner eye thing, see the third post from the top. And if it isn't seen physically, then there's even more room for it to be related to synesthesia.

I used to think this exact same thing until after two years I finally broke through and figured out how to see and feel energies... Now I see faint auras around random things at different times and when I actually want to see an aura... It never works how I want to though, just how it wants to work itself. confused my guide on how I do it is all in here http://www.mprilc.frih.net/beginner.html

Even if I could see them, it could still be a synesthetic response. Unless there's some sort of immense epiphany one has upon seeing an aura, then I don't see how seeing an aura would change anything. But as far as feeling energies...that really would only be furthering my point. If felt energy, which manifested itself as a color, that's synesthesia.

I don't think there's any guide to energy that is actually efficient that will tell you how it's supposed to be... Also, some people who think they are born with the talent of feeling energies sometimes actually turn out to just have Asberger's syndrome

It was more of just a theory of mine, but since it was somewhat skeptical in nature, I thought I'd post it here. I'm only responding here to defend my point that it could be something other than the usual (or unusual, really). I've actually done some research on Asperger's (mainly after a friend of mine tried to convince me that I had it...), but I've never run across that one. I'd appreciate it if you'd cite where you heard that from.
