This can be locked after sunday, no worries.
A-kon (Dallas, Tx) is this weekend, starting tomorrow. Anybody gonna be there 'sides me and Leyna and Sluggy?
Apparently there's an informal meet up at 12 on Saturday.
Anyways, if you do show up, and if you see a girl dressed as my avy is, with nitemare headbands, yell at me. Just...you know, make sure it's ...actually me.. *grin*
Discuss... well, I dunno. Cons if you want. This is mostly just for the Texas people who might be coming

I'm fifteen hours away from Dallas, or I so would go. I do have family down in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
I've never been to a con. I live in the midwest, and I don't think there are ever any cons around here.

I've never been to a con. I live in the midwest, and I don't think there are ever any cons around here.There's one up by me in Chicago. Not that I've ever gone to it. ): I think it was in early May. I haven't made it there either.

Ii have only a few more weeks to wait till the Animecon2006 , in Holland, starts...
i dont know about american conventions, but ours are 3 days long...
basicly 3 days non-stop party.
the hotel rooms where its going to be held was fully book in just a few hours, over 400 rooms!
the first 500 tickets were sold in less then a day.. they even sold all the available tickets, a total of 1200.
the dutch on is: from 28th of june till 2nd of July.

Friday - Sunday. I'm just going on Saturday cause I'm cheap and am not buy a pass. The hotel usually books up pretty fast, but you can always buy a pass on the day of. I'm not sure they've ever shut down registration. But man, the hotel reeks. I wonder how they air it out when everybody leaves.

I might be able to make the five hour trip...I think it's ACEN, not 100% sure though. One of the people on my friendslist has been trying to get me to go ever since I met him (on Gaia), but I'm kinda afraid of him. xd
