I'm an empath.
That means i feel other people's emotions, and i have a very good understanding of their thoughts ans minds and emotions.

It also allows me to recognize people by the 'feel' of their energy.

Also, other things that it allows me to do that i cant remember because it's
so normal for me.

I also see spirits....and i talk to them and stuff like that.

I also manipulate energies.

i can see auras... of people, of feelings, and of *things*...

I'm contradictory... I'm a believer, and a skeptic... Kind of like that poster on the X Files with the UFO, "I want to believe."

If someone claims "supernatural" or "paranormal" abilities, I'm going to be skeptical of them. Not because I don't think that these things can happen. It's just... I know more than one person that will jump to the 'it's paranormal!' conclusion for EVERY LITTLE THING, with no interest in finding a basis for the event. I'm not saying that maybe some of these things haven't been paranormal, but... neutral I mean, to me, there's a different in saying "OMG, I heard people talking last night, and there wasn't anyone there! I must be psychic!" and "OMG, I heard people talking last night, and there wasn't anyone there! I wonder what made that happen?"

I've had experiences with things that I can't entirely explain. But that goes both ways - because I can't prove that it WAS or WASN'T paranormal... *shrug* Stuff happens sometimes, and whether or not it's a product of my subconcious and/or dreaming mind, a part of my brain picking up on something going on, or something that's really seriously happening that anyone or their mom could see/hear/whatever... I dunno.

My personal belief is that there are lots of things in this world that we call paranormal or supernatural or magical, because we don't yet understand - from a scientific standpoint - how they "work."

I hear voices too, but only when I try to sleep. It's almost like a radio turned all they way down, but you can still hear it... It's all static like and I hear ALOT if diferent voices.
Yeah... I used to hear that. It's been a long time, though. I think I'm too tired to get to that level of consciousness, these days. To me, it sounded like when you're on the phone with someone, and your phone starts picking up someone elses' signal, and their conversation is way in the background, and you can't quite make out what they're saying... There have been only a few times, I can count them on one hand, when I COULD distinctly hear the voices. Probably three times in one week, I woke up in the middle of the night, about 2 or 3am - I'm talking woke up, sat up, put on my glasses, and LISTENED to a choir singing. I couldn't understand them, it wasn't in English, and I didn't recognize the song. Another time, more recently, I was purposfully in a trance-state, and I was hearing the distant-static voices, and said, in my head, "Why don't you just come out and talk to me?" and a very distinct "New York Jewish old man" voice said, "You wouldn't listen to me, even if I did." It snapped me out of the trance instantly.

It seems that if I were to claim a 'paranormal' ability, it would have something to do with the sense of hearing, since that's what it's been, more often than not. I don't think I'd want something more than that... I'm unwilling to see things. I've said on more than one occasion that I don't want to see a ghost, if they exist, because I'd probably pee myself and run away. xd "Seeing is Believing" ya know, and... I'm uncomfortable with the idea of having things/people around me, seeing what I do when I'm alone. It's uncomfortable enough for me to have someone that IS visible, and alive, and real and all that, lurking around, looking at what I'm doing. xd If I saw something, I'd freak out.

...and there is tons of other 13 related things in my life but im sick of typing right now.....
When you give something meaning, and give it attention, and make it stand out... It's everywhere. In my world, things like that are pretty common. I actually do it on purpose sometimes. Ummmmm... Here'a a generic example - Like, if you or a parent or whatever gets a new car, suddenly, you see THAT car in THAT color ALL OVER THE PLACE. It's not that there are more of them than there were, just that because it has meaning now, so your brain picks them out where before, it just let them sink into the static of 'There's a car, there's another car, there's a van, there's another car..." It becomes, 'There's a car, there's another car, OMG IT'S A GREEN JEEP JUST LIKE MOM'S!!, there's another car..." Give it a try. You already do it with 13... Try it with 7. Or 103. Try it with... guys in red shirts. Bowties. Green jeeps. Teapots. Yellow birds. The letter "Q"... Pick something. Know that you're going to see it. And you will. Here - you're going to see... a red balloon. Keep your eyes open for it, OK? It might be a real red balloon, or it might be on the cover of a book, or on TV, or in a picture online. 3nodding Red Balloon.

I think that thing-auras are easiest to see... I see auras around computer equipment, LCD televisions, iPods... and nothing else! Not people, not animals, not trees or plants or such... xd

yeah, but by see, alot of people mean feel, and give vision to. like seeing images while listening to music. *seeing* and aura is like imagining a note as purple. it feels like this person is such and such, and i associate the feeling of such and such with the colour green... so their aura is green. and the reason that the bar for such interpretations can be spread to far is because people tend to be of like mind. like mindedness is more common than we like to admit, seeing as how we as people all think we contain within ourselves the center of all that happens to and around us... *sigh*

as as for the if you want to see, you will thing, i learned this quote when i was trying to memorize omens like a scientist as a little*r* girl;

if you are looking for an omen, you will find one...

i still get needlessly freaked when i see a yellow butterfly in early spring or stand before a fallen picture/mirror... once you believe it's hard to forget or let go though, dang it! lol

At times I sense things that other people usually don’t feel or see. Some times it feel like a coolish dark shadow and other times it’s almost like I have butterflies in my stomach. I’m not even sure what it is that I’m picking up but my mum says that premonitions and foresight have been know to run on her side of the family, even she’s had similar experiences. To be honest I’ve been thinking of trying to find someone to help me get in touch with my inner senses but at the same time I feel scared in case I end up seeing or doing something that will “upset” me. It might sound weird but when I was about seven I had a strange experience at night. I woke up because I heard yelling, but it wasn’t either of my parents. I was scared so I went to go and run to my parent’s room but when I went into the hall there was someone else standing outside my parent’s room so I screamed. My mum came running out and put the light on but the person I’d seen was gone. Now this sounds really stupid because light isn’t going to help any but from that night on I’ve never been able to sleep with out a night-light and at times I still get the same feeling I had that night but I’ve never seen anything as clear as I did then. I can’t really explain things too well though.

Well, simply put, I'm a sensitive. Energies are drawn to me, be it ghostly or ghastly. Ever since I was little I've believed in other things, other planes of existance (though I didn't quite know to call them that back then). I feel and understand prescences, even if I can't see them. I won't claim to see every ghost or even remotely everything there is to see, but I will say I am a sensitive.

I don't know if I do, but I think of things, and later on they happen. Like specific things, not vague things. And just yesterday, I was on the bus and I thought of my friend Keith, and something he said, and I les tehn 10 seconds later, I looked out the window and he was walking by.
