It won't be so bad, I hope, although I live in PA and they are actually calling for warn ahead up here, cause they think the hurricane will be side swiping us real bad and we will get bad winds and stuff, possibly even another flood........... sweatdrop

The New Hades Well I do think Jeanne is not going to be a huge problem...I might loose power crying UPS and backup generator, got to love it xd

But if I had some extra electronic parts and the plans to it, there is this one box that will let you get power from the phone lines. Power may go out but those damn lines are almost always on. So I could have a backup supply or even a new power source altogether. But does that box still work? I know most of them don't work anymore because of the changes in the lines and how everything is done.

Don't feel bad, I don't have one either, we only got a 1 hour UPS at the office for the phone system and a temporary emergency generator in the building we lease from right now. sweatdrop

I need a job. Yes I actually WANT a job. Having money is worth working...I know...Strange words coming from a slacker. It would be great if my local computer shop could hire me as a tech but they probally wont because I wil only be in HS, have no certs, and will only be 16. But damn if they could. I could do all the virus/spyware removals. They get like 100 of those a day. Hell, I'll even settle for being their b***h and just lifting and moving stuff.

Hey, never get you're self down, I got no Degrees, one brainbench certification and I am working on a microsoft certification right now, and I only got my G.E.D., and I am only 19, so don't think down, sometimes it takes awhile and sometimes you have to be pushy and show your skills to get noticed. I am one of the few actual people around here that is really good with linux service and installations, and it is all cause of word of mouth people found out about me and the company I work with. Always stay positive and never give up!
