Babbalui lol, its good to have you... im one of the newer members of the guild but you'll get to know me as one of the OSB people... it's quite fun really! 3nodding and back to alex! i hate him... he's cunning, yes... but its the evil side that i hate, he is completely self centered and always wanted to control the power of the golden sun, and thats the only reason he wanted the lighthouses lit... he only wanted to gain ultimate control so he deceived all of the characters to do it... and thats the main reason why i hate him! Well put B!

Hyper Mushrambo Yeah. Alex will star in my next fanfic after I finish this one. But at the end of mine(the one I'm writing) He will end up Mia's and Garet's son! xp I think I read that one. It was good. Anyway, I think Alex is a good...villain. He's smart, manipulative, and powerful. You have to admit, making Felix and the rest do the work for him while he conveniently placed himself on top of Mt. Aleph was cunning, if nothing else. I think he's a nice, deep, complex character. As a person, however... (I'll leave the next Alex-basher to fill in the blank.)

He's a sociopath, as far as I'm concerned. He cares not at all that he betrayed Mia; he doesn't care that he's manipulating people for his own means; the only time he shows anything close to emotion is when he realized he was foiled in his quest for ultimite power.
Therefore, he is a pretty good villian, but an awful person. 3nodding

Hmm, these kinds of things are like "Why do people like Sephiroth so much???"
Why?
Sometimes we don't know,
but at the very least, he provided SOME humor for this game,
that's good enough for me.
Yes he IS evil, an yes he IS cruel,
but haven't you seen enough villain cosplays to realize that people just love antagonists?
And man, I love manipulative people, it's fun watching them pull everyone's strings. Of course in real life, those would be the people I'd be running away from. So it's kinda like a love/hate?
Nontheless, if he didn't help light the mercury lighthouse, all of Weyard would've just died away, wouldn't have it?
That's MY reason on why people like Alex so much.
I like him,
but at the same time, he is annoying, (Like when he bought time to run away with Saturos...Oh gawds, I just wanted to-)
But hey, I'm not throwing a hate thread about him.

I think it's just because he redeems himself in Jupiter Lighthouse... you know the whole reviving them and hoping they save Mia...
Perhaps he shows potential... and sometimes, people just like a bad boy... id like to put forward the evidence of millions of 'Draco Malfoy' Shippers...

it's really hard to say with Alex, I mean sure, he wanted to control the world (I believe he stated that at the end) but we don't know his intentions, for all we know he just wanted all that power to stop any and all possible wars, or maybe he is evil, we won't find out until golden sun 3 is announced and released, assuming alex is even in it

'Cos he's devious, with any game, TV show, anime, manga, book etc. there's always at least one person who routs for the villain. Thet're just cooler.
