one concern I saw people discussing, was that they don't want the icon that activates the super smash moves to turn the game into a 'first person that's gets the shiny orb owns everything that breathes' competition.
Yes, and playing that way would kind of remind me of Power Stone. xDD But there are lots of items in the SSB world. :3 And I'm sure that they should add a heck of a lot more this time just like they did last time. Not forgetting the thousands of Pokemon they have yet to add too. Don't forget that the game was meant to be customizable which means you will probably be able to take off that item too. :3

Good point though, I remember seeing that one shot of Grudon (that's probably wrong, but oh well) taking up a large part of stage.
Who knows? Maybe you can even block them if you use the right attacks...
Still, if Marth and Roy come back, I wonder if their counter moves will be able to deflect that...probably not, but we can hope right?
