Chibi Forte The_Answer_to_Love Disney makes things boring. There is no comparison.....the old Doug is and always will be WAYYYYY better. Like Power Rangers. I always loved the old Doug shows. They were my favorite of course. But I never had an overwhelming hatred for the New Doug. I actually enjoyed some of the changes they made. But still, Old Doug is hard to beat. ~*|*~
Same here.
I never really minded the few episodes
of the new Doug that I saw,
since I knew it was the closest I would get
to the real thing.

I remember that. It was called The Brand Spankin' New Doug...
It never stuck to me. It was wierd, and I never like the characters' new clothes and style. The old Doug was definitely better.

Yeah, it was one of those things
where if we had no knowledge of the old Doug,
the show could have been decent,
but since we were so used to the old Doug,
it could never stay with us.

My friends and I always break out in Old Doug songs and I have to say, its fun. I enjoyed watching the old one with my brothers when we were younger..always a good time.

And here I thought you were actually asking which one we liked better, as an honest question. Of course the nickelodeon doug, none of that disney s**t. It was pretty cool though, after disney bought them I went to disney world in 5th grade. I got to see a doug musical.

yeah and it was on ABC or something, old doug was an alright show, and i watch the new one once and was like, wow they ******** that show up!

oh and the new doug is still on i believe on the nicktoons channel, and i bet if you go to YouTube and put in Doug you could watch old episodes.

Wow... um... I like both Nick's Doug and Disney's Doug equally. I was really down when the older Doug ended, but I was so excited when I saw that new Doug episodes were being shown! haha... I didn't care who made it, I was happy as long as I got to watch my weekly dose of Doug. ;p I thought Patti's haircut was really weird, but nothing else really bothered me. I was happy when Doug got a new baby sister (Dirtbike! XD). And I loved the movie! Actually, one of my favorite quotes comes from the very last episode, when the mayor is presiding over the wedding ceremony of Patti's dad and their English teacher (that was her subject, right?). Doug asked the mayor how many weddings he's done and he replies with "Well, this one and two more make three!" and walks away. XD
Yeah, so that's my opinion. 3nodding No jumping on the "Disney Sucks!" bandwagon for me. I like my old Nicktoons and would totally convince someone that most of today's toons are trash and the older toons rock, but I'm not going by blind faith this time. Disney did a pretty good job with Doug, in my opinion. Yeah, I do wish some of you guys would see that too, but I have a feeling I'm not going to be convincing anyone else. I know how hard-headed us nostalgia-lovers get. wink What we think we remember was good we hold very close to our hearts, and what we think we remember was bad we cast aside and deem it as sucky. biggrin
I hope I didn't step on anyone's shoes. If I did, I really don't mean to! Hopefully no one's angry with me (I hate arguments! >.< ). I just hope to have a nice, civil debate with someone. So if I totally offended someone, tell me why and we can talk about it! ^_^
