Ceribri
Both the captain of the ship in 'Impossible Planet/Satan Pit' and Margaret Slitheen (series 1) were in Casanova with David Tennant, the captain of the ship being the right-hand companion. 3nodding

Played by Shaun Parkes who I heart love heart !

Another Casanova/Doctor Who one is Nina Sosanya (Trish in Fear Her) who played Bellino opposite David Tennant. In the promo pic, she's the one on the left (with David's head resting on her chest...)

It's not just RTD. Tom Ellis (Milligan in Last Of The Time Lords) was in an episode of Linda Green, produced by Phil Collinson, and John Simm starred in Life On Mars, commissioned by Julie Gardner!

And Tim Faraday who played Tom's Dad in Fear Her had worked with David on Secret Smile!

And I didn't realise this, but Ron Cook (Magpie in The Idiot's Lantern) had also appeared with David in Casanova! He was the prisoner who was in the next cell to Giac.

Extra info:- David Tennant, when at drama school, went to see Derek Jacobi in Richard II and got his autograph. When Derek appeared in Doctor Who, David didn't dare say anything about that because he didn't want to freak Derek out! He did, however, mention it to DWM, which is how I know it.

Ok, I just started watching Dr. who about 2/3 years ago, and have only seen episodes with the 9th and 10th doctor. But I can tell you that David Tennant appeared in a play naked.

In 1988 Jon Pertwee didn't get any of his birthday cake.

Elaborate? Yes? No?

Okay. In 1988 Pertwee was in Minneapolis, Minnesota for Polaris Con, a SciFi convention that my dad worked at.

Funny story 1: My dad made the fanzine reading room out of cardboard boxes and beanbag chairs and my dad can make anything look like anything. He was putting the finishing touches on this reportedly fantastic looking room when Pertwee came in, looked around and noted the materials that it was made from and surprised my dad by spontaniously saying "Yup. This is up to BBC standards."

Funny story 2: Going though some of my old family pictures one day I found a picture of Pertwee in a Minnesota Twins t-shirt cutting a cake and I asked my dad what the story was. He told me that his birthday happened while he was here and the staff threw a party for him. Well, Pertwee cut the cake and passed it out and when all was said and done, there wasn't any left for him XD.

Through the Polaris Cons and Time, Space, and Fantasy cons my dad ended up meeting Troughton, Pertwee, Davison, and McCoy. We've got autographs and my dad's got stories (like how he traded baby stories with Davison and how McCoy thinks that Americans have an obsession with cinnamon) and we could've gotten more if Creation Entertainment hadn't bought out all the little fan conventions by paying guests tons of money and making them sign exclusive contracts.

By the way, I was 2 at the time.
