^^;; A lot of people try to buy in the exchange and then sell for higher in the marketplace. XP Oh... hey... is that what they mean by exchange whoring? I've been hearing a lot about it ever since I started questing. What is your take doing that kind of thing?
I'm not against exchange whoring. Exchange whoring is a pefectly legitimate way to make gold. ^^
It's tweaking the market and artificially rasing prices for your own greed that I'm against...

I'm not against exchange whoring. Exchange whoring is a pefectly legitimate way to make gold. ^^
It's tweaking the market and artificially rasing prices for your own greed that I'm against...But I heard somewhere that exchange whoring is what adds to increased pricing in the market. sweatdrop I keep browsing for cheap items. I think I may buy an april 2006 letter because they've been cheap lately. Maybe the sun rod thing will go up in price.

No... In a way, yes, exchange whoring and artifically raising is increasing pricing. XD
But that's sort of a recent 'fad.' Exchange whoring is just buying low, selling for more that you bought it for and then using your profits in invest again... It can work off of natural inflation. ^^
There are a lot of sun staffs in the market... so it's price won't rise soon. (Unless AI gets a hold of it. =P) It is bound to raise in price, as all donation items are, so you should make a profit anyway. ^^
A lot of people agree that it is very well detailed, but don't like it's bulkiness. And at the moment, there aren't other donation items to match with it... soit's not like you need it to complete a set...

Someone was doing this auction in the exchange for a x4 blackrocque helm and so far I have the highest bid. I bid 12.5k and the helm sells in the marketplace for somewhere around 17k. Sadly, I think the owner wanted a lot more than 12.5k for the helm and they're hesitant to end the auction.
