Or you could paracyte a drone. If you distract them they may not notice the nydus.

No, its not very difficult in rush games. Cause then you can do it while they're attacking you. Making it very difficult to attack you and protect themselves at the same time.

While you're attacking, a standard player would be pumping units at the same time, which means there's units in their base. They can easily move those units to kill the nydus. I mean, it's not that hard to spot a different colored square in the middle of a bunch of lime green squares in the mini-map.

Hypothetical situation. Your expos under attack and its cut off from your main base so you can't get your units there. Nydus Canal. Instant transport from one area to another and another strat. You're bases are cut off from each other but you want to attack. Send a small part of your army to distract your enmy, then send the rest of your army through the canal and attack from the other side. The bad thing bout them though is thet they're so high up in the tech tree.
