Yeah and there's nothing strange or wrong with the fact that we're sitting at home alone on our computer arguing how to spell curse words we heard of a tv show with people half way around the world that we don't know, right?
hehe, sry, I had to poke some fun. But if it was any other show besides Firefly, we'd be geeks. xp

Its ok if its Firefly, Serenity, Star Wars, Star Trek, The X-Files, Stargate SG1/Atlantis, etc.

perhaps im going insane, but i could have sworn I've heard "shoulda coulda woulda" lots more places after Jayne said it. Infact, i haven't heard it before Jayne said it then all of a sudden, i hear it! I'm not crazy, right? sweatdrop

I'm not crazy, right? sweatdrop Yeah it is like in every episode there is another thing...they say "Really" in a sarcastic way alot...but I can't rember the big thing that is in every episode and there is one it is just a really come saying...really.

writerserenyty I use Chinese on a daily basis, as well as shiny and gorramit. I call my little sister "mei-mei" and whisper her name like River does. (my mei-mei's name is Miranda. 3nodding ) I believe that "Gorramit" is cantanese

Like everyone else here, I tend to say shiny and Gorram when in the company of other firefly addicts (Shiny sometimes in the company of non Browncoats. I don't think anyone would understand if I suddenly said Gorram.) But I use Gorram a lot in my head.
Example:
"Get these Gorram people out of the f***ing store, it's Gorram closed for pete's sake and I gotta Gorram close!"
I would say Mei Mei if I had a sister. I'm trying to get into the habit of speaking in Chinese. I now know four words!

The one reason though that really drew me to the show first?
I saw an ad and it said "Firefly" in that fine shiny text wink
"so?" That's my nickname, no lie ^_^
I lay down all sorts of quote from the series and film and usually get a strange look or shake of the head.
