Sawa remained as long as she could to hold her lantern, but eventually it broke apart and the little fireflies flew off. Others seemed to have more luck with their lanterns holding up, so she glanced over at Zuko to see how he was faring and had to hide a giggle behind her paw.

The dark male was still standing, his little basket between his teeth but with no more lights within. It had also loosened enough to allow the bugs within to fly free, but Zuko didn't notice. He had fallen into a light sleep standing up, looking absolutely ridiculous in doing so. He jerked awake as a firefly settled on his nose and after a bit of teasing from Sawa, the two wandered off, considering it a job well done.

Ruaka had a bit better luck with her lantern as it held up until dawn, but she was struggling to keep her eyes open after Kokayi and she had stopped speaking due to exhaustion. With the rising of the sun it seemed the whips were either well on their way into the catacombs or had ignored their attempts all together, so it was with heavy paws and eyelids that she stumbled away to get some sleep.

Her container had broken by this point, the light in the cage floating into the night and she watched as those with more success moved along the path to 'guide' the wisps 'home'. Deciding to just hang around and watch everything she took a seat off to the side and allowed herself to fade into the background of all the excitement.

"Come now, let's do as they say and lead them down the path!" Budek rather commanded of his little family and led the way for his mate and children. Isabis beamed and with her container she bounded along after him wanting to be one of the 'first' of their family to help lead the way with the rest of the pride that still had working containers.
