inu_spike89 I've heard of item finding threads before, but I had no idea people were using that to completely steal someone else's design. That just seems so unfair to the original designer. I totally get wanting or needing to use these threads to find one or two items, though. Sometimes you run into people who are just unwilling to share what items they are using and you need to go through a third party to figure it out. Still, to replicate and steal the design... it hurts my heart. I know it's just little pixels and whatever, but time went into a lot of the designs... It's badong is what it is. Yeah i totally get what you mean.

i had mine disabled for a long time because that happened to me i went into towns 2(about a year or 2 ago) and some one wanted to "twin" and i was like no because i had spent weeks (literal weeks) making this avi changing out bits and pieces and such and they said that i didnt own the items and such and proceeded to make my avi in a matter of minutes and came back and said "twinning isnt so bad" and i was furious and immediately changed and hid my equipped list and i went back into towns and just seeing them get so many compliments added more insult to injury
it doesnt matter if we dont own the items it takes time and creativity with avatars
heck i have avatars that are still incomplete from when i joined and i dont know what i want to add or its not coming out how i want it. i get it that its just pixels but pixels i spent hours even weeks or longer mixing and matching, layering, cutting, etc. to make it into a vision and work of art
i have mine viewable again cause i feel like it isnt a huge problem as it used to be because most of those users got banned for other things and a lot of items on avatars have little to no listings in the mp and if there is then its super inflated to the point where they cant obtain said items they need to truly copy and everyone its too focused on getting gold and with new items pumped out almost every second they dont get to focus on other avis because the new items have caught their eye and it gets irritating to answer the same question almsot everyday like "what is your hair? "what is your eye mod?" this way you can look yourself
