i live in montreal now, have a really nice happy life here and the city is awesome except for the insane winters. tons of trees, all the apartments are only 3 stories high because of zoning laws and so it's all very residential, no ugly new condos. everyone has a balcony and a tree outside their window. there's 3 feet of snow outside right now, cars just kind of ram themselves in on an angle to park on the side of the road and need to shovel their way out.
i was in an abusive relationship with a guy who had narcissistic personality disorder, it kind of ruined my life for a few years, but i got away from that and am doing much better now and dating a very nice boy now. loving getting older and becoming more in control of my emotions. feel calmer and more content than ever.
