the friendly unknown Kyra wasn't offended by anything about race, as she had gotten used to the fact that she doesn't know hers, but she would still like to know. She was also intrigued that Melanie was born with an actual horn, and technically be human. " So, are summoners able to do other magic, or just summoning? " She knew that she, herself, couldn't be a summoner, but it was still fun to learn about others. Plus magic being her main talent, she was interested in the magical capabilities of others.

The sociable Yokai The color from Leola's face quickly drained of its color once she heard what happened to Melanie. "That is horrible!" She exclaimed noisily. The yokai had understood that human kind had a fear of anything that was different than themselves, as it is why the satyr had to hide her own appearance by wearing her necklace, but the thought of being mutilated at birth was a horrifying idea to her. She knew it had to be so long ago there was no point in trying to try to change it, but it was still confusing overall to her.

I stand in the light of my mother and lay constant in my brother's shadow...
Melanie looked to her tea and smiled softly, thinking back on the events that lead to her claiming Tempestrus. "I only summon, the spirits themselves are the ones that use magic from that point. I do command them somewhat but it's their own emotions that control them in the end...It's hard to explain, maybe one day I'll show you guys." Her words thankfully weren't cut off but her gaze did jump to Leona when she Exclaimed. "Oh! N-No! It was extracted magically! It didn't hurt at all. You don't have to worry." A few of the summoners passed were thinking that their expulsion of the horns was a ritual best forgotten, they assumed it was ridding the summoners of their abilities to call spirits. Melanie was their example of how wrong that belief was.

the friendly unknown She replied to Melanie's statement about the magic. " I, myself, am very good with magic. It is my main talent, so much so that I may even surpass trained wizards." She said, not realizing she was gloating. She was enthusiastic about her magic capabilities. Kyra watched Leola's reaction about the horn removal, and Melanie's answer. " Either way, you're fine now. And I see it as a good thing, for now at least. Some humans don't like things out of the norm."

The sociable Yokai While both Kyra and Melanie agreed that the horn removal was for the best, it still didn't sit entirely well with Leola. She had calmed down a little bit since hearing about the probably painless magical procedure, but it just hit a little too close to home for her liking. The yokai tried to push it out of her mind, not wanting to focus on darker subjects so early on in the day. Instead, she tried to focus on the subject of magic that the two other girls were discussing. Leola might be the third wheel having developed no skill for it so far in her life, but was still willing to listen to others more experienced talk about it. "I welcome the chance to see you both perform your abilities." Leola said eagerly, returning back to her usual pep.

the friendly unknown Kyra was enjoying the conversation, until she saw the clock on the wall. " Oh no, I'm going to be late to class." She jumped up off the sofa and ran with incredible speed to her room. She grabbed her backpack and ran out of the dorm with the same speed. *exits to science class*

 -Astian walks up to the dorm entrance- " Well, at least there are people in this school," he says to himself. He is wearing a dark coat with a hood over his head as if he is concealing himself from something. After searching for the right room, he eventually stumbles on dorm one. " It is a little late so I think I can get in here without bothering anyone. - He slowly unlocks the door and enters. he finds that the last room seems open and therefore takes it. He takes off his coat and covers himself with it. " I think i'm just gonna lie in here for a while so i can calm myself." - He goes into deep thought thinking about his last school-

Astian realizes that he fell asleep. " I wonder what they have to eat around here," he says to himself. -He gets up off the bed and throws on a hoodie, then proceeds to walk out the door to go find food.- -Leaves to Café-
