- Once the prisoners had been released, it wasn't difficult for them to escape the Sound Village amongst all the chaos and confusion. They had safely left the village and had no problems on the way to the village -- well, almost no problems. Angelynn had collapsed once the coast was clear and fell asleep on the forest floor. Not wanting to just leave her there, Kyo scooped her up and carried her the rest of the way with Max following closely behind, keeping a very close eye on the man. Somewhere between the Sound Village and the Sky Village, Kyo's hair had turned back to its usual powder blue color and the jewels had returned to his cheek. This was a good sign that he was 'safe to touch' again.
Kyo took a deep breath when they finally arrived back to their own village. It was almost as if the air here was... cleaner; sweeter, even, than outside the village. It was definitely better than the smell of death and decay that was in the Sound Village. Of course, he wasn't sure if that was there because he had killed people in the place before they had even entered or if it was always like that. He simply shrugged off the thought, trying not to dwell on it too much.
His magenta-hued eyes drifted down to Hazel as she spoke. He then closed his eyes and nodded. "Sounds good." He smiled. "Oh! Can you do me a small favor?" He asked, not waiting for her answer before placing the 5'2" fox girl in her arms and taking a step back, still smiling. "Please deliver her to me in my office. Take your time, though. No rush." He took a few steps back even farther from the group, watching as the fox was now keeping an extremely close eye on Crystal now. He then held up one hand,as if to wave to everyone 'goodbye' without actually waving. "Thanks! You're the best! Oh! And get someone to fill this hole..." He pointed below him. There was no hole there... But with a wink, the Kyo before them quickly turned green and purple, falling to the ground as a pool of acid which quickly melted into the ground before disappearing in a billowing cloud of smoke.
... That hole.
The real Kyo took a sigh of relief as he looked out the window and watched the white smoke in the distance. He could feel the chakra ties between him and his clone disappear and it was like a breath of fresh air. It's difficult to relax when you have to constantly feed chakra to something else that is miles away from where you are. It was starting to give him a headache.
He rolled out of bed, knowing that Hazel would be arriving soon with this fox girl his clone had met. He quickly threw on some clothes before and checked his hair in the mirror.
Yep, still fabulous.
He had had a little... 'company' while the others were out on their rescue mission. While he was out and about walking around town, he had found a woman about his age who had struck a conversation with him. Next thing he knew, she was back at his place.
I won't go in to details. Kids read these posts. For the purpose of a PG rating, they played Monopoly, no one went to jail, and they collected the $200 for passing 'Go!' -- If you know what I mean.
Anyway, she was still asleep in his bed but he decided not to wake her. He then left his room and entered his office, waiting for the delivery.
