Kel had a vague idea who the person was who started the fire. "We need to get out of here," she said. "Now. Because I'm pretty damn sure that was a demon." Or me, she thought. But she would know if she had done anything and it wouldn't be surprising if it was another monster after them. Where was a place the would be relatively safe? A church? Too many people would be put in danger. But it had holy water and it was a sacred place, which Kel figured they'd need. Demons didn't seem to like that type of stuff.
She realized something. I have some of those things. Kel once assembled holy water, crosses and other bobbles in case she or one of our loved ones were ever to be....well yeah. She had wanted to give them one hell of a chase and possibly evade them, should it have ever happened. When she finally got out of her state of thought she noticed a new member to their little gang. She literally took a step back for a second, but came to the conclusion that it was the time to be surprised. "I'll help too, starting now," she rushed out her words,eyes on the new stranger. "I have an idea, but we need to get to my apartment. I know you have no reason to trust me on this, but...please do."
