I really want to see this one, but unfortunately it wasn't in the Disney-Ghibli deal! Darn!
At my local library they had a Japanese (no subs or dubs) copy. It was very frustration to me. 3nodding

Yes I have seen it. I was left feeling the ending could have been better. I did enjoy the characters and the animation style was unique to most Ghibli stuff. It could have been great. That being said it's still worth a watch.

hai! i have seen Only Yesterday and Ocean waves... (u can see all the movies i have seen in the "introduce yourself" forum).
to answer ur question... no, they just probably dont know it, Only Yesterday and Ocean Waves (including some others) are just not that popular than the other films. whee

cagalli1543 sorry when I made this thread I hadn't seen it.
It's easy to say "well there is a thread, look more carefully next time", but realize that your asking them to "search more carefully" through hundreds of posts.As for the link " This video has been removed due to terms of use violation. " guess i was too late.
Maybe they will release this on video - like the yamata's... yeah right gonk
