Natsuko looked at him in frustration. No animal deserved to die without someone giving it a chance. Natsuko sat down in front of the fox and as she looked at him her eyes started to glow a bright white. With this happening, she grabbed the small fox and held it tightly in her arms, a tear fell from her face and onto the for head of the fox. Natsuko glowed and as she exhaled, she put her thumb on the fox's for head and took the risk of going into its thoughts to calm it down. The back of her body sprouted wings, that of an angel, and covered the girl and the fox, there for protecting them. In a strange dark place was were she arrived and there she stood. looking. waiting.

It was here that she saw a boy, almost about her age actually. He seemed normal, until he came closer; parts of his body was missing skin but instead showed dark red chakra skin, also covering his left eye and showed a white dot. "Why are you doing all of this? Why show kindness now when everyone else had done nothing but violence?!" His voice was the mix of a child's and a monster's synchronizing together. "What am I to you? I've been nothing more than a tool and a weapon for those who hurt me, so what am I now?!?"

"You don't have to be a monster if you do not wish. From the looks of it you are human, but you don't seem to have peace with your demon, which makes your being more obstructed." Natsuko looked up to the boy and walked towards him and smiled.
"I do this because I see a soul in need. I'm kind to you because you are like me and violence is not the way. To me you are a confused boy who needs help finding his own path. I would never use anyone, let alone hurt them. What is your name?" She held her hand out to him and smiled, showing that she was not harmful and wanted to help with open arms

THe boy hesitated from her hand, but eventually got the guts to do so. "My name..... Is Nine." He slowly reached for her hand and gently held it. The world around them grew brighter until it was blinding. Natsuko was back in the real world holding the fox in her arms. Itachi couldn't help but stare at the moment, not believing what had happened.

Her wings opened and retracted. Natsuko got up and looked at the fox.
"Hi Nine, it's nice to meet you" Natsuko said with an exhausted smile upon her face

Nine nuzzled his head against her arms and relaxed, even when Itachi came closer. "A miracle. That's all I can say right now...."
After some time, Itachi and the group had left the building due to the collapse of the structure, Nine snuggling on Natsuko's lap as Itachi made communication with the other members, consulting about what to do with the current situation.

Natsuko gently pet the top of the foxs head. she made him feel right at home.
"What are we going to do now Itachi?" Natsukok asked looking at him,
"Can we keep him?"

Itachi at 1st did not respond, but then turned to her. "We're still consulting about that, but as far as i'm concerned, he's all yours. It's mostly what to do with you Natsuko. Would you come with me to meet the other members of Akatsuki?"
