"If I may?" Trel said. He got down on his hands and knees and took an experimental sniff of the ground. He got up and moved a little to the left before reaching into his pack for the makeshift shovel. He dug a for a few minutes before he smiled. "Anyone thirsty?" He looked over at Arya. "Just because something looks dry doesn't mean it is dry."
Alice looked at Ayra as if wishing she could kill her and get away with it. She looked over and noticed the flames before shrugging. "Mirage of the sun. And the headaches? Heat related," she said. To prove her point she stuck her hand right into the fire. She retracted it immediately. "I still blame the headaches on the sun and two nut cases." She ignored Trel.

"That's not the point I was making Trel."Arya said shaking her head. She sighed as she looked at Kyra then back to Trel."Trel...Somethings here."She whispered to him.
Kyra went over to the spot Trel had found some water and she reached down to fill up their canteens. She smiled softly as she looked back to Trel and Arya."Something wrong?"She asked.

Trel nodded. "Let's move then," he said so only she could hear. "Soon we get them out of danger the better it will be. Worse comes to worse, we'll let Alice go at them. Once her temper's up, it'll stay up a while."

Arya looked at Kyra."no. Lets go."she said as she lead the way from the lakebed.
Kyra looked at Alice and wondered how they were sisters. They looked nothing alike and acted totally different.

Trel brought up the rear, after convincing Alice to finally move with the group. He kept his eyes scanning, his hand on the smaller gun at his waist.
Alice grumbled under her breath. Somehow she had gotten two more people around her. To boot, Trel thought the other girl was her twin or something. She couldn't understand how a weak person managed to survive so long.

Arya looked around and stopped the girls. She walked from the girls and looked around the area. She looked back to Trel as she went back over to them."Something isn't right."She said to him.
Kyra looked around as she walked over to where Arya had come from. She stopped when she felt something off. She looked to Alice, Trel, and Arya. She turned back to where she felt something off.

Trel nodded. "Kyra, Alice. Stay close," he said. He looked over to Arya. "We need to get them out of here. I'll distract them. You take the girls and travel west." His eyes moved in the direction. "Keep going until you reach the church ruins. Get inside and stay there until I come. I'll meet you there."

"Trel I can't leave you behind."Arya said watching him. She was worried he wouldn't make it."Trel please."She whispered.
Kyra looked around she could feel creatures coming towards them through the earth.'Why can I feel things through the earth?'She thought as she looked around.

"I'll be fine," he said. "I always am, aren't I?" he added just for her.
Alice just shrugged and started walking off. She didn't need them anyway. "Thanks for everything, Trel. See you and your pets some other time."

Arya grabbed Alice's arm before she could get to far away. She didn't care what Alice would do to her for grabbing her. "You better be alright."She said to him."Let's go girls."She got both the girls and lead the way from the area.

Alice glared at the hand, leveling her gun with the off hand. "I go where I please. Just because you feed us some hocus-"
"Shut up and go with them, you stupid girl," Trel growled. "Now!"
Alice allowed Arya to drag her along mainly due to the tone Trel used. He had never had that tone in his voice before, even when they had been in danger.
