Name: Katarra (meaning White Fur or Ghost Fur)

Age: 150 years

Race: Wookiee

Gender: Female

Family: Birth family deceased during a tragic incident as a cub
History: Katarra grew up in a typical Wookiee fashion on Kashyyyk. Upon birth however, her physical 'deformity' was an oddity that many others feared. Her family did not fear it, and loved her raising her closely. She had noble standing with the family, however when she was a young cub still, there was a terrible tragedy that befell the tribe. It was not spoken of on Kashyyyk, and she was the only survivor. She was taken to be raised by her uncle in a neighboring village, though after that incident everyone feared her since she had survived when others did not. She also did not speak much after the incident. After this, she grew up with her uncle until she was almost of age, but at this point there were slavers interested in Kashyyyk, and she was taken away due to her rare fur, and sold to a wealthy family on Coruscant as a personal slave to one of the younger ladies. She tried to escape a few times, and was met with punishment, and eventually got used to living as a 'beast' ignored by everyone, but bided her time learning in the meantime. Finally, the oppertunity presented itself, and she made her escape in a daring attempt at freedom, and got away with it. She then hit the stars and began working mercenary jobs on freighters or whatever jobs she could find to make ends meet, while avoiding bounty hunters who seek for her very high bounty.

Physical Description: Unlike most Wookiees, Katarra has pure white fur fading to cream a the roots, pale skin (a grey nose instead of black), and bright clear blue eyes. She's typical Wookiee height, strength and build, but her fur is rare on one so young, usually only the Elders have grey fur, never white.

Can you keep away from the darkside: Possibly. Katarra is a good person, and believes in what's right and what's wrong, and will defend her morals to the death, however she DOES have quite a temper, and could be lured if given direct pressure from the wrong elements. But she is solidly in favor of good and justice and helping others.

Jedi Rank: As of yet, untrained. She's had a few strange experiences of having vision-like warnings, odd feelings on the back of her neck, etc, but she doesn't even know what it is yet.

Saber Description: Once she learns, she will favor wielding two sabers, one in each hand, white blade with a larger than normal hilt due to her size.

Special Abillities: She is more gifted towards politics, negotiations and using her skills unnoticed than outright battle, however she is also a formidable warrior. She doen't like to fight, but being a Wookiee in addition to commanding the Force makes her a dangerous person to get in the way of. However she would more prefer to see herself listening, offering advice, treating wounds, or helping others rather than going out to investigate fleet activity.

Force Powers: (unknown as of yet, though she has had some premonitions, sense perception and noticed things strong in the Force, though she doesn't know it)

I'm willing to shift and change this, my concept is she would begin not knowing anything about the Jedi, but if you need or want someone more knowelegeable I can adapt ^_^
