I would, but 1) I don't know the DC universe that well, and 2) modern DC (at least the comics, but the movies to a degree) are going to bullpoopie. Sorry :/

well fortunately it's not following the modern DC comics other than abilities and stuff, and even that is only to specific types. basic premise for it is that it's after the Parallel Earths event and where all the heroes have vanished in one of the universes, leaving the villains and others to take the places of the heroes.

There's a better explanation about it here, and you can just use the wiki to get a better look at abilities you can use and if you want to know more on the lore before it all
