Guidelines for the Educational Endeavours subforum are as follows:
1. Follow Our Rules
This subforum is not excluded from our typical rules, nor Gaia's. Remember this.
2. No Spam Allowed
Just as you would imagine from a classroom setting, there is to be no chattering amongst yourselves while the lesson is going on. Think of this subforum as a classroom - which is exactly what it is.
So don't make me turn this subforum around kids. I will.
2. Keep most OOC out.
This is a mostly IC subforum. The threads in which you respond are in effect classroom settings. If you need to make OOC remarks, do so in parenthesis after your IC text.
Failure to comply will have you warned once and your post edited. Failure to do so again will have you banned from the next week's events.
3. Keep on the event's topic.
Do not post art or writing in the word game, or any other combination thereof.
Failure to comply will result in a warning and then a banning from the next week's events.
4. Gibberish does not count (writing event).
Gibberish consists of chatspeak, horrible grammar, incorrect spelling, and general harassment of the English language. If you participate in the writing events, we expect you to be able to write. If you can't write, please try one of the other events.
5. A stick figure is not generally considered art.
Unless the event specifically calls for it, a stick figure does not qualify as art. This may be harsh for some people to bear, but keep in mind I can't do art for my own sake and can barely pass off as doing stick figures myself. That's why I'm a writer and not an artist.
6. Word Games are fun.
If you find yourself unable to write or draw to a degree you feel fits the above two rules, the word game event is there for you. Don't count it as 'lesser' than the other two events. I'm a WGer by nature.
7. No posting outside official threads.
If you are caught creating threads in this subforum you will be banned from future activities.
If it is a mistake, please PM me immediately and I will move it to the appropriate subforum (or delete it).
There is no excuse for clogging up this subforum and it will not be tolerated.
8. Follow new rules ad infinitium.
If we need to add new rules, you are to follow them from that point onward. No excuses.
However, we do not expect you to know the future. You will not be warned/etc for any previous actions.
