Maria smiled it was true he could ask the same question. "Oh and here I thought it was a super-secret." she told him giggling a little at her response. Who knew that one would come to the aquarium out of pure boredom? Looking at the pokemon as her teacher spoke Maria liked the idea of her teacher getting more pokemon. "They'll never get old to me. I don't have a Cubone although I think they're awfully cute and Ditto well I'm sure you can tell how I feel about that pokemon." she told him as her own Ditto transformed itself into a miniature Mantine.

"If I had to recommend a pokemon I would definitely say a water type would be a nice catch." Maria told him as she looked back at her teacher. "I happen to have a Mantine at home and he's amazing. Most dependable pokemon I know." she added. "Grow." (Wait.) Growlithe barked looking up at her. "Oh, next to this loyal fire type of mine." Maria said saving herself from an upset puppy. He really didn't like being bested by another pokemon at least it never led to any fights.

Now that was a combination of personality. Maria was surprise at how Growlithe and Mr. Saruhiko were towards one another. Growlithe at first sniffed the treat like he usually did before taking it gently. It reminded him of the treats that Maria had given him. "Thank you..." Maria had never received such a compliment. "I never thought of evolving him." she admitted. Truth was Maria had a fire stone sitting in her room at home that she debated about using but then thought against it. It got her thinking if Growlithe maybe wanted to evolve.

Growlithe wagged his tail as he got praise for how good he looked. The pelt nonsense made him question the guys sanity. 'Who would do that that...?' he wondered. He was sure Maria would never do such a thing. "Grow." (Yes.) he barked happily before licking Maria's teacher. "You really think so..." she asked. She didn't think she was doing that good.

Thinking of evolving Growlithe reminded Maria of Niara. Although she really never talked to the girl ever she knew she had a Growlithe named Dasher and she’d evolved him into an Arcanine. Maybe she would ask her what it was like to go from one aspect to another. Maybe Growlithe should as Dasher that same question? Well it was something to think about. “We’ll be sure to give it a lot of thought first right Growlithe?” Maria replied looking down at her fluffy companion. “Grow.” (Yep.) he agreed.

“Ditto.” (Time.) Ditto said getting Maria’s attention. “What is it Ditto?” Maria then looked down at her watch. “Oh shoot… I have a contest to get to.” She released it was that time. “It was great talking to you Mr. Saruhiko.” She said giving him a smile and a quick wave. “Come on Growlithe.” Maria told him as she raced off to the park for the water pokemon contest.
