On the home page it says:
Soul Society, Las Noches, Hueco Mundo, 3 areas all clashing in the midst of battle. The shinigami of Soul society pledge their lives to protecting the world of the living, slaying all hollow who dare to stray from their world. The espada, hoping to completly remake the worlds using a forbidden power, continue to struggle against the shinigami. three forces, continually clashing for what would seem a eternal battle of balance, their blades creating a Storm of Blood. Can you tip the scales?
Only the Espada and Shinigami are explained here, as well, Las Noches is IN Hueco Mundo, it's a huge castle like structure, not another area.

las noches is more specifically a larrrrrge area that has earned itself to be worthy of being an entire area, did u see how much ichigo ran and ran and ran in that freaking place? also its home specifically to the espada, whereas hueco mundos just a barren land of sand, caves and hollow along with a few powerful beings, this is why there is a seperation between the two

Ah, well dont forget it's an anime, they always stretch the running scenes to stretch the episode as much as they can.
But I can see your point.
And who are these powerful beings in Hueco Mundo? there is a system set up within Las Noches constantly watching Hueco Mundo for Spiritual pressure spikes, mainly just for other Arrancar who may join their ranks, but you get it.
