It has been a busy time. It has been, what, two years since I was last on Gaia? In that time,
-I was in a relationship that lasted a little over a year. We are still good friends, but living in two separate cities was more than she could bear any longer.
-I have more or less dropped out of the SCA. I don't have a problem with the organization, and will probably become active in it again one day, but it was a combination of burnout and lack of time.
-I moved on from a technical college to a full university, and am pursuing a degree in English: Secondary Education.
-I became active in my local fighting game scene. I am currently actively practicing Virtual Fighter 5: Final Showdown and Persona 4 Arena, while still playing some Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
-I adopted a dog. Her name is Sookie. She is a French Mastiff.
-I became active again in City of Heroes, only stopping when they announced that they were closing down the game. I am now currently playing in the Mechwarrior Online beta.
-I joined a local Vampire the Masquerade LARP, where I play Ezekial Crighton, Ventrue neonate cornering the market on the tech sector.
-A new video gaming center, Game Ever, and a new tabletop gaming store, Game Goblin, opened nearby, and I've been giving both much of my business.
-Attended, for two years running, Fear the Con in St. Louis, the a tabletop gaming convention put on by the gentlemen who create Fear the Boot, a podcast about tabletop roleplaying games and a little bit more.
-Created a tumblr account.
-Read Homestuck. Let me tell you about it.
-Had many fine brews.
-Began studying American Sign Language.
-Utterly failed one year of attempted NaNoWriMo, and skipped last year for schoolwork. Will be going for it again this year.
-Watched Korra, began watching Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.
-Also watched The Genshiken.
-Began following Kyle Kallgren on TGWTG.
-And experienced many other things along the way.
