Ian looked thoughtful for a second, brow furrowed slightly. "I think it's just normal sports with powers. I think some of the classes play some weird ones though; the Flight and Levitation kids do Quidditch sometimes." He sighed, wishing he could play it too. "That has to be the coolest sport ever. Oh well."
He looked at some of the pictures with Tsuki, squinting a little in the badly-lit room.
"Your biological parents had powers? Nice. That probably explains why yours came out so early. Did you, uh, know them at all?"

"Uh, I never met them. Dave and Jill my adopted parents said they found me at an orphanage still as a new born. But it makes sense I suppose." He said looking at the guy flying. He had thought the guy looked familiar. However he took a picture of him with his phone and walked back.
"They said I had a brother but was already adopted." he said looking a bit bummed by the thought of that. What kind of people separated twins was beyond him. If he had powers then his twin must as well.
"Hey can kids of heros not have powers?" He asked. His twin may have a normal life. Trading Pokémon cards, going to skating rings every Friday, and just being normal. That's what Tsuki wanted for so long. To fit in.

"I guess if only one of your parents had the gene there'd be a 50% chance of your brother getting it, and if both of them did it'd be a 75% chance. Unless, you know, you were identical twins. Or if both of their parents had powers as well. Then there'd be no chance of normality. This super smart girl Bethan used to come here, but now she's somewhere researching superpowers. Anyway, she figured it was a dominant gene, so if it was passed down, you'd definitely have a power. The powers themselves depend on other genes; that's why kids can have completely different powers to their parents, or exactly the same ones." He shook his head, amazed by all the possibilities everybody's genes held.
"Hey, do you want to get out of this place? It's kinda depressing in the dark like this."

"Yeah then I guess he might be here already because we were twins. I also heard there was another school like this. Who knows." he finished with a shrug and a sigh. He walked to the door and kept it open for Ian like the way he did for him.
Getting a question he asked "Are there any famous people who have super powers?" That seemed good. There was no way some of those people could not have super powers.

Ian shrugged. "You mean St Servatus? They've been pretty quiet lately. I wonder if they're still open..."
He nodded in thanks at Tsuki holding the door for him, and stepped through.
"You know what, I bet there are. Though it might be hard for them to hide their powers, being in the spotlight so much."
He glanced at his watch, out of habit, then his eyes widened.
"Oh crap! I was supposed to be in class 5 minutes ago! Are you going to be okay finding your way around? Just ask somebody if you get lost; there's usually someone around."
He waved, as he rushed off across the lawn and disappeared into the school, shouting "See you around" over his shoulder before he got out of earshot.And thus ends your probationary period. Well done! Your dorm room is here, where you can post extra pictures etc. The main thread is here, so just post following on from this thread. If you have any questions, just PM me or Valerian Eclipse.
