whee I knew about it but never really understood it til now I was woundering in The Last Samurai could that be a good example of Bishoujo?

KirbyHero If I'm not mistakened, the samurai's sword embodies his very soul. The samurai takes the utmost care of his sword, and always honors his allegiance with his daimyo, or lord. To lose in battle means no honor, and no honor means he cannot live with his shame, thus, he commits seppukku, or the western-ized term, Hari-Kari, stabbing himself through the stomach somewhat, usually with a friend nearby to decapitate him since the stab must be clean, or the pain from puncturing an organ can be excrutiating.
