What I don't get is how someone with a so-called "martial arts perspective", or whatever bullshit you're spewing around, can be so godamn closed-minded. Please. That's like saying you can't respect professional bicycle racers because special ops teams don't ride bicycles. rolleyes


What the ******** do BIKES have to do with 1. Stealth and 2. Fighting ability? Because that is my issue here. It's so guy doing GYMNASTICS and you are all hailing him as "TEH NINJA MASTOR". The fact is, children, he's not fighting anyone, and you won't sneak through anywhere doing s**t like that. It's a FACT that the best sneakers known to the modern world ARE the special forces in the world's military, and some of the best martial arts are taught to them as well. So please, explain why this FAKE VIDEO is worthy of praise from a REAL WORLD perspective. neutral

The video is entertaining, and I respect the man as a gymnast. But what does this have to do with actual ninja ability? Nothing. It's fantasy.
Yeah well I would like to see your special forces guys get out of that situation about 12 to 15 guys with guns and you are unarmed and like 10 stories up good luck.

Oh stop kidding yourself. That guy got out of NOTHING because it WASN'T REAL. No-one could actually do that in a real situation, so, please, stop pretending.

Also, being in the Special Forces is about being patient. If they DID get into that situation (which would be rare), they wouldn't be ******** stupid and try to gunsling their way out of it. Or do silly acrobatics. They'd hide and wait until they were no longer being hunted for, and slip out unseen. The most important thing to a mission in a Special Forces infiltration and exfiltration scenario? NEVER let anyone know you were there. Dead people suggest an intruder. Knocked out people suggest an intruder. People who get slipped past in the darkness suggests nothing.

So just remember. People trained in acrobatics aren't used in the Special Forces for a reason.

I agree that the video is farfetched, but it had to do with escaping the situation, not sneaking. Also, movies like this are supposed to be somewhat unrealistic because they are made to take your mind off reality for a while so you can enjoy yourself. Now, from Blind Guardian the 2n's point of view, even if you could move like that, it would be only by chance that almost every part of the building was relatively easy to climb.
