═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ Nicholas wished Mauve a good night, telling her that he hoped to talk to her when he was more alert. He also stated that the room would be no bother, but she could choose which ever available room she wanted. He also mentioned how the bedrooms some how have almost everything you want and need.
He took Kaname's hand and took him out of the library with him. It had been a long day for the both of them. He knew that if he had stayed awake any longer he would of passed out. He felt that it would not be fair to have his husband drag him down the hall and to their room.
His mind was still reeling from seeing so many people in dream. He wondered were just their subconscious or something else. He was too tired to ponder too much on it He would talk further about it with husband the next day. They made it down the hallway and back to their room. He opened the door waiting until Kaname had entered before closing and locking the door.
He knew Kana would want to explore the next day. Nic had nothing against that and joining him for exploration. Right now he need sleep and food. He had not eat anything this that morning, but he was far to tired to so anything about. He also knew that one should not eat before sleeping. He still wondered how they could already be sleeping, but still need to sleep.
He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He removed his shirt keeping the white undershirt on. He went over to his lover and placed his hand on Kaname's shoulder leaning down to kiss him sleepily. “Goodnight.”Nicholas gave him soft smiled and went over the bed and fell back on it, letting out a sigh. He was still half way clothed, but no longer had the energy to do anything about it. Returning to the room, a warm feeling hit Kaname, as if he was welcomed inside. How strange, a place he didnt know at all felt just as cozy (if not more so) as his home.
Nicholas had already made himself comfortable rather quickly and Kaname laughed lightly as he kissed him. His nose wrinkling cutely. No surprise there...every little thing Nic did made him feel like they just met. And now that his husband could see him and actually watch him again, he found himself slightly embarassed.
The smaller man laughed, standing infront of the window a moment and looking outside. The sky was pitch black, yet a strange orange light peeked through eery looking clouds. His fingers touched the glass and he continued to stare. There was something both hypnotically beautiful and terrifyingly threatening about the night sky of NOD. Blinking out of his trance, he straighten up and stretched his arms high above his head. Pulling the t-shirt over his head and wiggling out of the dark colored baggy jeans, the younger man crawled into bed to sit beside him. Slender fingers reached down to gently stroke his cheek and neck, a warm smile stayed on his face as he did.
"Sometimes i forget how beautiful you are, Nicholas." He said softly, looking down at him from under long eye lashes. Though in Nicholas' time of being blind he couldnt appreciate his lover's looks, that didnt mean Kaname ever stopped. Sometimes Kaname would find himself waking up in the middle of the night and watching his husband just long enough for him to open his eyes as well...then the horror would hit him when his husband didnt say a word...just closed his eyes once again. He couldnt look back into his eyes...he didnt even know he was looking at him...
There wasnt a day that went by that the red head didnt blame himself...he might as well have been the one driving the other car...
"And then i look at you and i remember again!" He exclaimed queitly, laughing under his breath. His expression softened his fingers still gently massaging his lovers neck. "I love you."

═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ Nicholas had found the energy to wriggle out his jeans, he now laid on the bed in a white under shirt and plaid boxer shorts. He looked over at Kaname's profile looking out of the window. One of these days he would show in the sunset in Nod. It was unlike nothing he had seen before, the sky turned colors that he never knew existed. He smiled gently to himself, he was beyond lucky that he had found such a wonderful person to love and to love him back. He was also grateful for his husband's parents. Although he had yet to meet his father, Nicholas and Kaname's mother got along swimmingly. It was wonderful to have a mother figure in his life.
His own parents could careless about him, in their eyes he was a disappointment. He was supposed to became either a doctor or lawyer, make lots of money, meet and marry a nice Jewish girl, and have lots of kids. His parents made a plan for him and he had ruined it by being gay. So they had disowned him and kicked him out of the house. Nicholas has not seen or spoken to them since he was eighteen. He also stopped going to synagogue. He knew religion worked for some, but he did not for him. He had never got in along with his parents, rebelling in ways he could when he could. Like when he had joined the chess club rather than the football team. Organized sports were boring to Nic, he never understood watching people pass a ball back forth.
The only person in his family he had been closed to was Robin his fraternal twin sister. She had been the only person he had trusted to tell that he liked boys rather than girls. They were sitting in his room listening to The Smiths and chatting away. Their parents wanted them to have separate rooms since they were fifteen, but they were together either in his room or hers. She accepted the fact and asked him teasingly who he had a crush on. He had answered just as teasingly Morrissey, even to this day he is a Smiths fan. A few days later Robin had gotten him a poster of Morrissey a small gift that only they knew the true meaning to. Sadly Robin had gotten very sick and had passed away when they were seventeen. He still misses his sister, but he knows where ever she is it has to be a great place.
He heard small creak from the wooden floor as Kaname stepped over towards their bed. His husband sat down on the bed besides him. He sighed contently as he felt soft slender fingers rubbed his face and neck. He smiled up at Kaname softly staring his dark blue eyes. "Sometimes i forget how beautiful you are, Nicholas." His lover said softly. "And then i look at you and i remember again!" Kaname laughed quietly under his breath still rubbing his neck.
Nicholas smiled at him brightly, it was astounding to have such a resplendent man tell him that he was beautiful. No matter how many time he heard it, it never failed to make him happy. "I love you." “I love you too.”Nicholas reached up to run a hand through the red hair moving down to take his hand in his, before gently pulling his lover's body towards his own. He pulled the pulled brown covers over them. He kissed Kaname once more before gathering him in his arms. “I'm so happy you're here with me now.”He said in a soft sleepily voice and smiled contently. He fell asleep rather quickly feeling the gentle comfort of Kaname's heart beat.

Nicholas woke up the next morning to bird song. He opened his eyes half way before closing them again. He groan quietly, uncharacteristic not feeling like much of a morning person at the moment. The warmth on Kaname's back slightly woke him up, his eyes fluttering open a few moments later. What an amazing sleep he'd had! The man had always had a habit of tossing in his sleep, but here he laid in the exact position he'd fallen asleep...which was new to him. And absolutely wonderful.
A yawn escaped him, his face still tucked in Nicholas' chest.
"Asa asa...ohayuo-godsaimasu," He sang in japanese, more of a timid mumble. A soft song his mother used to sing him wehn he would stay with her. His body stretched, back curving so that he was even closer to Nicholas' warmth, "Are you awake, Nic?"

═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ Nicholas smiled sleepy at the soft melodic sound of Kaname's singing. He felt the smaller body move closer to his. He then heard Kaname ask in a not quite fully awake tone."Are you awake, Nic?" Nicholas yawned stretching slightly before answering.“Yeah.”Outside he could hear the songs of several birds. He was glad to know that none of them wear the birdlike Mara he had encountered the other day. Looking over his husband he could see that it looked like the weather was sunny outside. Which was a good thing if Kaname want to explore Nod today.
He shifted his body so he was on his back, maneuvering Kana's body to be on top of his. He pushed back the red hair from his husbands eyes, then leaned up to kiss him softly.“Good morning.”Nicholas said giving the younger man a soft smile. Kaname moaned gently as he was given the gentle kiss, a content smile on his face...though his eyes were still closed. He wasnt totally ready to get up. Like a lazy cat, he slumped into Nic's lap as he sat up to rest his back against the headboard.
"Mmm, yeah," He said sleepily, babbling on in a tired sounding voice, "Chocolate chip pancakes sounds good. And scrambled eggs...and toast with butter...blue berry muffins and strawberry poptarts...a slice of grapefruit and fresh sqeezed orange juice..."
The drowsy babble faded off into a purred, a small smile on his dreamy face. Eyes still closed...he loved breakfast food more than any other food in the world. Well italian was his favorite but, he'd turn down spegetti for pancakes and eggs any day. There werent any IHOPs or Denny's where he lived in japan, so when he came to america and found a pancake house on every corner he almost had an overload...
Finally he blinked, allowing his eyes to drift open, catching the sunlight from outside.
"Doesn't that sound wonderful, Nic?" He sighed, then eased up to stretch and kiss his partner's lips, "I can't wait to explore today! Oh...i should shower and...get dressed?"

═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ Nicholas smiled at the comfortable weight of the other man on his lap. He listen to Kaname list various breakfast foods. "Doesn't that sound wonderful, Nic?“Yeah, poached eggs, rye toast, and hash browns, and fresh brewed coffee sound nice too,”He answered back with a smile as he looked at the one on his husbands face.
Nicholas had never been much of a breakfast person, but Kaname had change that. He watched Kana's eyes blink open. He smiled as he felt another pair of lips on his. "I can't wait to explore today! Oh...i should shower and...get dressed?" “Yeah, we probably should get up, I found a place I want to show you.”Nicholas said helping the younger man out of bed. While Kaname showered, Nicholas shaved, and got ready for the day. He opened the closet and looked through the clothing of his and his husband's. Finally he decided to wear a pair of jeans and a light blue t-shirt. He then put on a pair of black high top converses. He made the bed and then sat on a red arm chair waiting for Kaname. His cheeks puffed up a little...well...obviously his lover hadnt taken the hint of joining him in the shower...although, Kaname was far too embarassed to just ask. Even after all this time of being with him...he figured it would probably always be this way. Which was fine with him. He loved the way Nic made him feel...and he hoped it would never change...
Turning the hot water up as high as it could go, Kaname hoped in and cherished the warm water. He always liked it scorching hot...no one knew why...just another strange quirk of his. After washing his body and hair, he stepped out and tossed a towel around his head, rapping a smaller one around his waist. He was crazy hungry but so excited about the day to come that the growling hardly phased him.
"Almost done," He sang, walking down the stairs as his hands rubbed wet red hair with the towel. It wouldnt take him long to dress...but he did want to hurry up and cook--speaking of which! Did the house cook for them? Or did they have to do it themselves? Either way, he wanted to stuff his face before venturing out.
A black turtle neck, fitted jeans and a grey hoody were found. Along with a scarf and high top climbing boots. In comparison he realized he dressed kind of like a teenager...something he'd hoped he'd grow out of...people always thought he was a lot younger than he was...which could look quite bad on Nic's part...
"Ok," He sang, putting his hands on his hips excitedly, "I all done...uh--" He paused, grabbing a paper-boy's hat and putting it on, "Kay, now I'm done! Lets go eat Nic! I'll make you anything you want." His statement ended with a purr as he bent down to kiss his partner.
((Eek...is this post as ugly as i think it is? T.T I've been gone so long i like...forgot how to type! D: ))
