Rules of fighting
1.) Respect the Gaia ToS and Guild Rules.
2.)Respect the Captains, Lieutenants and all other Crew if you are
given corrections, DO NOT take them negatively or personally.
We are here to help you, not discourage you.
3.) If you are to spar I suggest having a referee like a Captain if you can.
This way they can step in if you try to kill off the person that your sparing
in a unfair way. Or if you use moves that are not of your rank or in your
character information.
4.) Make a new thread every time you have a spar. Title this thread with
the name of the people who are fighting. (ex. Bob vs. Steve)
5.) If you are watching the spar do not post in the spar to add your own
little cheers. It really has no need in a spar and can become useless
babbling (no offense). This spar is for whoever is fighting, not yours, so
no surprise attacks. If you feel that someone did a unfair move then you
can enter the fight and add your comment to it. If you are not heard and
the move is not corrected then you can go find a Captain to see if they
can do something about it.
6.) NO GOD MODDING
7.)NO AUTO HITTING. You must wait for the other
person to move in the spar, do not force their actions. You must give
them room to move when you go to attack just in case they can some how
block your move or dodge it.
Any time you state that an attack makes contact without
waiting for some form of response you are G-moding. You should declare your attack
and then wait to see how they respond to see if they would possibly be
able to dodge/block or interact with your such actions.
For instance...
Let say your playing an dice based RPG. First you roll your attack, then you
enemy roles a reaction role. There must always be a form of response to
almost ever action dealing with another ones character.
Doing other wise is controlling their actions making you god with the ability
to do things you cannot. i.e. G-moding
8.) At no point are you allowed to end the life of a fellow shinigami.
If everyone were to go around killing each other blindly, we'd
have no military to fight back against threats to the Soul Society or Human World.
There is ALWAYS a way to defeat your opponent without murdering them.
9.) Anyone with access to a zanpakuto release higher than Shikai,
such as Bankai or Zenkai, MUST receive permission from their opponent(s) to use
them. Without that permission those higher releases are BANNED from use against
Soldier or Officer ranks. That being said, it is completely fair game for
anyone with the same level of zanpakuto release access to use their
fullest potential against another shinigami.
