Each pet has their own adavantages, but they are NOT TO BE USED FOR BATTLE. They are simply to be used as pets or as a way to find things. Like, taking a dog to use their smell to track someone/something down. Telekinetics, because of some of the skills they get, can use their skills through someone or something, as such, you can use one of these pets as a medium or to get information from. IE: A Telkinetic using a bird to scout the skies above him, or a rodent/lizard to sneak close to someone and use a skill from. (skill can not be used for battle)
Each pet will not obey you and will not want to follow you around at first. The different things you must train your pet for are: Listen, Follow, and Obey (for Telekinetics only). Listen is just that: they will come to you, stay where they are, or go somewhere if you ask them (only simple things like "go in that direction", nothing complicated), but they will only follow you if you keep telling them to come to you. A little more training, and they will follow you around willingly, unless you tell the not to. For the Telekinetic class, more training and they will follow specific and complicated commands (like, "follow the edge of the building, go around the corner, go through the open door and look for a little kid").
Also, you can only have ONE pet at a time. For Telekinetics that have Telepathy or Energized Telepathy, their post requirements are reduced by 1 for both Listen and Follow.
Shinigami, Hollow, and Bounto CAN NOT get a pet here. Hollow's have their own store in Hueco Mundo, Bountos have their dolls, and Shinigami don't need them >.> Clarification: Human classes only
