Nodding, Val turned to Tira. "Don't worry... we'll bring Elrohir back." the demon smirked. "And you can either forgive him... or beat him to a bloody pulp. I won't stop you either way."
Smiling, the demon's large black wings appeared around his body.
He was ready to take to the sky, as soon as Xarik'n gave the word.

"I'm going to start by beating him to a bloody pulp." Tira decided curtly, "And then we'll see if his reason is good enough for me to forgive him. It better be damn good."
Xarik'n shook his head. "Are you so sure about that?"
But when she didn't answer, he simply smiled, motioning Val to follow him. They took off to the sky without another word.
(Right on. Hopefully both Ore and I'll be able to be on more often. I know I've been MIA for a while.)

(((OOC: Hehehe, that's cool. I was MIA for like half a month. But Pip and I move on Friday, so next week, I'll probably have more time. When my mom finally moves, I'll have a lot more time, because I won't be over at the house helping her pack. So I'm betting that a couple weeks into September and I'll be all yours, mellon nin!)))

Val bowed to Tira once more. "Be careful." he spoke softly to the woman, before his large wings propelled him into the sky.
He followed after Xarik'n, "Do you think she'll be alright?" he asked, once they were obviously out of earshot from Tira.

"Not sure." Xarik'n shrugged slightly, "She's pretty volatile. If she's anything like her mother----and I mean look at them, really it's whether or not she's any MORE like her mother... She's going nuts with self doubt and blah blah blah blah blah, all the things women go through." he shook his head. "Although this time she might have a point. You know I originally hooked those two up because they had similar temperaments.... If he did desert her, he better have a damn good reason."
But it went without saying that he didn't think that was the case; the sheer tone in his voice said volumes more than his words. "I have a bad feeling about this, kid."

"That's the worst thing to do with someone like her." Xarik'n answered promptly, looking Val in the eyes. His own seemed to be trying to see how much intelligence the demon actually had; degrading, yes, but uncharacteristic for the demon king? Not at all.
He looked away, carefully scanning the mountains. "With her temperment she'd be bound to try and come with us if he was truly in trouble. At least with her back at home we know she's safe, unlikely to let in any strangers, highly distrusting of anyone outside the walls and not going crazy on anyone. Rubius and their sort won't be able to use her against us. There's nothing good that could come from her knowing for a second he may be hurt until he's safe, because on the otherhand, if she doesn't outright try to find Ro herself, she'll worry herself to death. Angry is better than sorrowful and scared with a half-elf any day. A half-demon too, really, so long as she doesn't try to KILL him herself."
That was a possibility they'd have to deal with. It was going to be a long, long day, if not week.
