A good point, but to take that very literally would also be to say that Kuran Kaname of Vampire Knight is autistic =/ I don't think Lawliet has a specific mental deficiency. But, without asking the author, that's just an opinion xD

Yes. I actually had to look him up before I knew he was a vampire (Hate vampires stressed ) But, i'm not sure that's a good example. L is not supernatural just impossibly smart. While it could be autistic I could see it being an environmental thing as well. It's a proven fact that people with diverse environments grow more neural connections which would explain mello and Near, but not light. Sayu isn't at that level either.

ROFL! I just meant the fact that he's egotistic, a little childish when it comes to what he wants, and can be very obsessed. And seems to have the inability to look at other people as people instead of as tools.
You hate vampires? 3: I hate Twilight vampires. But vampires as a whole are <3. lmho xD
Yeah, that was what I've been thinking. Lawliet had been raised with people reacting to and serving his every whim because he was a genius. Watari probably spoiled him rotten. It's the only-child syndrome times 20 xD At least, is how I figure it. lolz

It's a possibility as always. No one quite knows what makes intelligence. It's widely accepted that it is envronmental, but people's siblings vary in intelligence.

As for Vampires: Yes I hate them. With a passion. Did you know that ACTUAL vampirism is spreading through the united states? Like people literally hire blood doners so that they can extract their fluids to drink. I even have a friend who quite literally believes that they need about a cup of blood to survive a month. He eats something done... is it rare when they don't drain it? but yes. I prefer psychics over vampires, but that's only because they can do the same stuff vampires can do, but it doesn't cause some sort of a mental defficiency among americans where everyone needs someone's blood to feel "real".

Ok, This forum has gone off the beaten path. I was wondering if anyone wants any ideas about the bad guys? perhaps a way to hide, get more accomplished, ect...

the easiest way to hide to me is to hide where your enemy expects it because they won't expect it. Quite the conundrum though.

Hmmmm.., Hiding. I would say that the best place to hide is a well lit crowded area. While the rationale seems terrible (You are visible), the cops have much more area to search. Unless they tell about you on the news, not many are likely to recognize you and as long as you can keep your cool no one will suspect a thing. The reason serial killers can stay so well hidden is that "He seemed like such a normal guy." Like you said. Hide in plain sight. I agree ^^

Also on that note, there is a concept called geographic profiling. It's a concept that places a donut kill zone around the killer. They usually don't hunt near their house or too far out. their target is generally comfortable between these areas. For those with a death note, I recommend using double kills where one person kills another but bleeds due to the fight. This mixed with careful planning, variations that make the deaths look natural and not final destination based are important in not getting caught.

Dna evidence is found in every action. No matter how careful you are, the second an object meets a new surface SOMETHING is always left behind.

Ooh maybe y'see If you completely wrapped yourself in duct tape would if still leave something? (well obviously) Then you just burn it or dump it in the nearest dump/incinerator. And by completely duct tape yourself I mean every inch safe for your eyes and then I'm thinking a ski mask or something so you dont go bald when you duct tape your head

BTW: I want to make a killer character that throws your logic out the window. I dont care if shes caught I would do this for entertainment purposes only.

I think disposing of the bodies are important :/
What would be simpler
Burning the body(ies)
or
Hiding it?
