Wait wait wait. Jack? Scared? Seriously? That's kinda of amazing really. What's more amazing is that he's out in the cold with Santa of all people.
Something is definitely coming. And yet the pieces don't seem to fit together well. Also, I've been hearing that people are expecting Gambino to make his usual dramatic comeback, but aren't making too much drama about it now that the initial shock is done with.
Oh ye of little faith....

I don't think it's T-Bone, as T-Bone works for his own needs, and I can't pinpoint a motive for what he'd need from Gambino. (Isn't he wealthy already?)
A new big-bad is still likely, albeit I can't help but wonder 'bout X... And Nicolae still has that trinket he took from the Overseer, but he's a jerk, not evil, right?

He could have, and that would explain why Santa is afraid at least (I mean he did try and eat him after all xD)
I don't really want it to be T-Bone, it's just one of the more likely of the already existing NPCs. I kind of hope it's a new person (Father Time gone baaad? )
Yeah and X...I thought about him too. But he seems like the type to go after Gambino himself.
And Nicolae would probably only do something to Gambino if he was like, part of his will or something xD

All Nicolae has is the Overseer's pendant. I don't think it'll do anything. Who would Zhivago be hired by, other than Von Helson?

NPC death in this city? On my watch? Tch, I'd rather hope not. Gambino was a strong man, but he relied too much on his own fortitude and threw it in the faces of his enemies like he was untouchable. Stupid man. He'll be missed.
Zhivago, though..... he worries me. The intel I've got says he's harnessed the power of lightning now, eh? That's the kind of hell I don't need rampaging through our streets. -eyes the crew of cyborgs, robots and weretigers surrounding her-
I'm inclined to put this on the vamps as well. I doubt anyone else would have the motive for something like this. Gambino had enemies, sure, but none as prominent as the Von Helsons. This reeks of their treachery to me.

At this point, there's not much we can do until more info is discovered, but at the very least, we can keep listening.
That reminds me of the attempted alliance with the vampires a while back. Only one ever really should up to the opening of the guild.
