Yup, This topic is all about the wonderfull game, Elder scrolls 4: oblivion, or, just Oblivion for short.
Made by the same people as Fallout 3, our beloved game in which this guild is based on. Despite the time era of the two games being completley different, I really love oblivion, And prefer some aspects of the game rather than those of Fallout 3.
I would like your opinion of this game, as I really love it, and am addicted to it.

I love Oblivion, I also get addicted to it every now and then. I like the elder scroll game before it to Morrowind, Same sort of thing but more quests, bigger map and the graphics aren't as good.

Oblivion was good, but not as good as Fallout 3 in my opinion. sweatdrop
Oblivion wasn't as addicting as Fallout 3. It had rather boring parts in my opinion, and I'm a gun person. Swords and Close combat were boring. I also hated when I contracted Vampirism, and I couldn't even walk outside in the daylight. Though I found some of the side quests pretty fun (Dark Brotherhood ftw). The Shivering Isles was ok, but it didn't really bring much to the table for me. I got all 1250 gamerscore on my Xbox for Oblivion. But I would much rather have Fallout 3 and its DLC. Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta > The Shivering Isles.

No we haven't really heard anything about it, which is annoying because the tralier for the next fallout game has come out already and It's being 4 years since oblivion came out and not so much as nibble.

A number 5 I mean. yes ther will be an Elder Schrolls V but that will take forever considering that bethisda is working on other games like doom and brink along with Fallout New Vagas( the other 4 games were not made by bethisda if you didint know) also the game was just huge so that will take a bit of time to make mabey like 2-3 years more and we would find it in gamestop.

I kind of don't like the leveling system in the game. 20 hours and I'm still level 5. Bleh.
What classes did everyone pick anyway? I picked the archer. And I get ecstatic when I headshot a daedra between the eyes from max range.

Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time, and I have to say, it takes a LONG time to get into. About a total of 100 hours is how long it took me to master the game, and I still haven't done everything >.<
@RJ: Give it some time, it might grow on ya ;P

I got mad at Oblivion for two reasons!
The first one was my fault I made an imperial but the character creation I messed up and made his head teeny tiny and he looked like the King Pin from spiderman.
The second one I made was a wood elf and he was awesome made him my thief and I got the ring that lets you breath underwater and a necklace that let me run on water and I got to the point where I was getting help for the army or what ever for the king and this one mission I had to go through this underground tunnel and the gate was locked and only a key can open it and I COULD NOT FIND THE STUPID KEY! RAWR!

I'm borrowing it from a friend atm and am having a tough time liking it. I don't really have the patience for it and what not, but I'll keep trying because everyone tells me it's such a great game.

The second I'm done with the Thieves Guild quest line, I'm just going to start killing random people I hate in hopes of getting into the Dark Brotherhood... Anyone you guys want dead?

Just finished the D.B. questline. Nothing really worth the journey accept for an awesome, invincible horse, and you get that halfway through anyway...
