We are all a little weird. And life is a little weird.
And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours...
I've now seen How to Train Your Dragon twice and Clash of the Titans once.
Dragon was awesome! I love that movie. There are a lot of good quotes, the storyline was fantastic, and Dreamworks animation is phenomenal. It was original, which gives it some brownie points.
Clash of the Titans... I do not like the new one. When I came home babbling about it three months ago, Dad made me sit down and watch the one from 1981. The one that's older than me is way better than the new one... They totally screwed up the story in the 2010 version. I would go into detail, but I don't want to post spoilers for those that haven't seen it.
It's not a terrible movie and if I am ever able to separate the 1981 version from the 2010 version, I will love them both. I'm just going to recommend that you go see How to Train Your Dragon before I tell you to see Titans, and I will tell you to watch the old one before I suggest watching the new one. Don't let the age of the movie fool you. The only gripe I had about the special effects in the 1981 version is that they skimped on Medusa. Other than that, Titans from 1981 was cutting edge animation for the day. They had a huge budget and they used it well. That movie was done better than some movies I've seen in the last ten years.

Don't feel bad or weird or anything. I also like original movies better than alot of their newly-made counterparts. I haven't seen any of those movies however, and don't really want to. At the moment I'm craving horror movies that actually scare me, which are really hard to find, so no luck in being scared. I watched the Disney version of Hercules last night before I went to bed. What fun (: Anywho, am off to school in a few, math mid-term and whatnot, so I'll leave this here as my ritual morning post. Caoi my lovlies~ (:

I finally got to watch The Da Vinci Code. Yes, I know. It's been out for forever. I just never could get my hands on it. Yay Netflix! I queued it up and it showed up in the mailbox a few days ago.
That was freaking awesome! Yeah, it was set in Paris and Paris is a little boring (been there...), but the plot more than made up for it. I like all the Templar lore, so it sucked me in immediately.
Today, I watched Angels and Demons, the sequel to The Da Vinci Code. It's set in Rome and deals with the Illuminati. I'm not so into them, but when I went to Rome the city stole my heart. That's a movie I could watch over and over just to see that wonderful place again and again. The plot was good too, and the end had a delicious twist.
I recommend both movies.
