Ranking System within POMMEL
As we know, the SWORD units are broken up by way of ranks. POMMEL has something slightly similar:
Junior Crewman: A sailor fresh off the gangplank, this employee is given the more arduous tasks, such as aviation ordinanceman, refeuler, arresting gear technician, and many other tasks most would consider downright dirty. These men and women are at the lowest rung of the ladder, and seek guidance from the Chief and Master crewmembers above them.
Crewman: Those who have shown themselves to be more "able bodied" are soon entitled to more leadership and job opportunities. These men and women, though not too advanced in the POMMEL hierarchy, have much more to be expected of them and are given a greater amount of responsibility. Qualities of a leader are needed in these crewmembers if they have any hope of passing the exam to the next rating.
Pilot: These crewman have dedicated more than their blood and sweat to the corporation. These men and women are tough, hardened individuals who have weathered any storm POMMEL has faced. They are the makings of quintessential leaders, but realize there is still much to learn. They overlook most of the administrative duties aboard the ship, and are the backbone of the POMMEL flight units.
Flight Leader: These are born leaders and embody everything that POMMEL is. They are reliable individuals with a bundle of responsibility. They are the leaders of the Caesar and Ra Flight, and are masters of the sea and sky.
Commander: The highest achievement a Pallas employee can. These are the ship commanders, the aviation commanders, the men and women who are behind the scenes, watching the operations from afar, ensuring the missions success.
