I prefer clothing that is not plastered with brand names. It's just a ridiculously successful ruse by the clothing companies to get free advertising. From their WEARERS. But I do enjoy altering hand-me-downs. I made an EGL dress... the whole project cost me $10 of lace.
Oh, and Asuna, if you want a petticoat, those are easy and cheap to make too. All you need is crenoline (sp?) and elastic. And a button, if you want the waist to be adjustable. Patterns can be obtained from any fabric or craft store, or from the back of any Gothic & Lolita Bible 3nodding

Faeliie plastered with posters  yah....I wear it sometimes, maybe tomorrow...but my good petticoat is dirty.....s**t 
D': Oh noes my school is thinking about enforcing a uniform rule.
Wearing the same as everyone else scares me
gonk no worries, my school has uniform(white button shirt, khaki bottoms and navy sweaters) but beside color code we can do whatever. i went lolita once.

Do I have to burn those, too? Sadly, yes. But don't burn the stuff: You got them before the place was infected. They're safe! Really? D; Uh-huh. As for Hot Topic... ...Let's put it this way: Every time I walk by there, I either have to giggle at people's stupidity for buying things, or facepalm and sigh. I used to like the place, but now... Anyway... Does anyone else here think prints are, in general, rather annoying on outfits? A lot of ones I've seen seem to be... well, unnecessary. agreed.
